I did better than I thought!

Week 3 - I lost another 2.2! I was actually quite shocked because I thought the week was a wash. The stagette on Saturday night with the chocolate fondu was enough to push me over the edge... and a bit of wine. However I suppose this whole "exercise" thing is actually working.

This coming week is going to be a challenge with my friend's wedding coming up. Thursday night is the rehersal and rehersal dinner afterwards - Taco Del Mar - which I love, however their menu is not very figure friendly. And then the wedding is on Saturday and I know the food is going to be amazing there.

I suppose I'll just keep going to the gym as I can and keep hoping for the best!

YOU'RE DOING GREAT!!!!!!

Carole, you're doing a fine job of losing weight!  Keep on going to the gym.  If you ever can't, find something you can do at home -- just keep on exercising.  It really helps!!!

About the rehearsal dinner and the wedding buffet:    HINT # 1:    Try to eat a home before you go to each of those events.  Eat healthily and according to your food program.   THEN, when you go to those events, just try to eat a little of the most low cal. foods.    HINT # 2:    If you absolutely MUST eat a goodie, eat just a tiny bit  -- just so you don't feel deprived!!!

(When my jusband and I go out to eat, I sometimes eat a half  of one of his cookies.  I take tiny bites, and leave it on my tongue for as long as I reasonably can  ---- to make it last and to get the most pleasure out of it.  That keeps me from being "bad.")

I hope these two hints help you to be good!!!!  Believe me, it'll be worth it!!!!      Bye for now and good luck!!!!!     -   MB
