The view from the top is great! :)
Well, I'm completely recovered and that is a fabulous feeling! Weight is dropping slowly, but I've lost a total of 9 inches in 6 weeks. I'm quite okay with that!
Reflecting back...seems like the weight is never enough, but there are things I can say now that happened in 2011 that haven't happened in many years:
#1 I can cross my legs quite nicely - what a great feeling!
#2 I weigh less than what my driver's license says! Holy Shit! LOL
#3 I finally posed for professional pics with my kids again. First time since 2004.
#4 I have been consistant in the gym except when I was out for surgery recovery.
#5 I have stuck to my eating plan - it has been pretty easy!
#6 I have more energy.
#7 I no longer take any meds except vitamins! No breathing machine either!
#8 I feel like being involved in activities I haven't take part in for many years.
#9 I'm buying pants that are 4 sizes smaller than I have in a while!
#10 I'm eager to start my day usually!
#11 I learned how to shag dance! SO MUCH FUN WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG?
Goals for 2012:
#1 Lose at least 50 more pounds.
#2 Go parasailing
#3 Tone as much as possible.
#4 Ride ALL the rides at the amusement park without worrying if I can fit the seat!
#5 Spend a LOT of time on the beach, river, lake or poolside. I want to be TAN!
#6 Walk the Cooper River Bridge Run/Walk - big deal around here. I walked the bridge for the first time ever on Sunday and I LOVED IT!!
I may edit this as I go along, but I can honestly say I'm having a blast right now just living healthier and happier. Thank you, God, for my amazing year!
Here is the view from the top of the bridge. Our walk takes us a little over 5 miles if you go across and back. I will be doing this more often!
