Day 3: Review Of: New Orleans Style Rice with Chicken Breast

I ordered three of these, so I decided to give it a try. I heard it was good... I'm neutral.

I cut open the bag and poured it on a plate. It looked as though it's already been eaten, then thrown up. It smelled like bad chili dog.

I did not want to eat it.

I decided to just take small bites.. I would at least eat half.

It doesn't taste as bad as it sounds. The chicken was actually very delicious, and it was actually cooked very well. The rice on the other hand was mushy and bland. I reached for my secret weapon: Garlic and Herb Mrs. Dash. It made it taste a bit better-- Better as in almost edible.

I didn't completely hate it, and it satisfied my craving for spicy food.

For my next shipment, I might order only one instead of the three I ordered this time.

*sigh*

Day 3: Review of: Blueberry Muffins

I hate blueberries, but these are yummy.... They are a bit dry though....

I'm still in shock about how much I'm eating, and how much weight I've lost.

*update*: I HAVE GAS.

Guess how long it took me to lose 5 1/2 pounds........

A week.

I LOVE NUTRISYSTEM!!!!!!!

Day 2: Review of: Flame Grilled Beef Patty

OH MY GOD....

THESE ARE GOOOOOOD. Half my order will be these next month. They are SO GOOD.

I had some grilled onions on it too using my fat (olive oil) and a pack of artificial sweetener to make them brown and crispy...

that was delicious.

This was the most satisfying dinner I've had in a long time.

Day 2: Review of Pasta Parmesan with Broccoli.

first, I want to give up update of this morning's post... The Cranberry/Orange Pastry tastes a whole lot better microwaved for about 20 seconds....

It has an okay flavor, but it's pretty dry. The whole time I was thinking how much I would love some butter on it.

For lunch, I had the Pasta Parmesan with Broccoli.... It was gooood. VERY GOOD.

I put on some garlic/herb Mrs. Dash, and it made it taste 100x better.

Tip: The instructions say to add boiling water and let it sit for 8-10 minutes..........*TRY 15!*

Day 2: Review of: Cranberry Orange Pastry.

It tastes like burning ass.

I am going to try nuking it in the microwave. Maybe it'll taste better.
I will update later today, right now I have to get to work.

Day 1: Review of: Lemon Chicken

The chicken is actually really really good. It's super light, and when I cooked it, it didn't stink up my house...

The pasta was rank. It was so mushy and over cooked. I tried to eat about two bites of it, but it was not worth it...

I heard a lot of good things about the Lemon Chicken, but I have to disagree.

I am really unhappy with it, and I won't order it again...

Day 1: Review of: Strawberry Shortcake Bar.

Tastes like strawberry pop-tart filling on a really chewy, and sticky cookie bar. covered in yogurt-frosting.

This is one of the desserts I was most excited about, and I actually do really like it.

Although it's not dessert time, I had 1/4 of it as a snack.. I will be ordering it again.

It's perfect for those "I want something sweet, but not chocolate" cravings.

keys to remember: first bite is super duper sweet, it's hard to tear.

Here we go...

I signed up and ordered Nutrisystem a few days ago, and my food is arriving today...

I am starting at 240 lbs, and I'm looking to lose 60 lbs. Anything after 60 lbs lost will be joy.

For my blog, I would love to do really detailed Nutrisystem food reviews, recipe ideas for during and after the diet, and of course, my thoughts and progress.

Tomorrow I will be starting my first real day--  food and all....

I can't wait.
