Counting Down the Days!

Well I'm changing the way I count my days.  I give up on the weight loss!

It happened!  But I am still going to be on here, I still need to make sure I'm eating properly and I think right here is a good place to do it!

I'm not able to eat much right now.  I'm not getting sick, but I have the worst indigestion and gas so eating isn't very appealing.  This morning I had half a bagel with cream cheese and a steamer (made with milk, need the extra calcium and less caffeine).

DAY 222 - Not Feeling It

I haven't been on lately cause, well I'm just not feeling it.  Not that I'm doing all that bad, just not feeling the whole getting stressed over making the right decision thing.  I didn't eat Great over the weekend, but I did manage to work out on Sunday.  I skipped working out Monday for washing dishes and getting started on wrapping gifts.  Then yesterday my work out was walking around the mall after work from 5:30 til 9.

I've been tired and hungry again so hopefully thats a good sign in the baby department.  I should find out in a week or so.  I've been tracking what I eat in a note pad and my water, wich I'm doing pretty good with  so hopefully I'll have a bit of a loss, and if not hopefully its because I'm with child!

I've been checking on all of you just the same, but more hurried some times.  Have a good Thursday!

DAY 217 - WI

I'm so disappointed in myself!!!  I only lost .5 lb this week and I know its all my own fault.  Why can't I just have some self control?  I keep losing it at the end!

Ok Wednesday:  Over 100 oz of water.  Coffee, sausage strata (1 srv, lowfat), Yoplait FF Yogurt, Chicken Noodle Soup, 1/2 salami sandwich, doritos (probably 2 servings), 1/2 cup of the left over LF burger stuff from Tuesday, and a Cheese and Jalepeno pretzel.  Even though all the stuff I ate at night was bad, I did have one major accomplishment, I didn't eat any chili at pool even though I wanted to in the worst way.  So yeah for that I suppose.  I didn't work out like I planned though and I should have!

Now for Thursday:  I did terrible!  90 oz water (Good), Coffee, sausage strata and FF yogurt for breakfast (all good)  Then it went down hill.  My company bought lunch so I had a Buffalo Chicken wrap (with blue cheese) and veggies with ranch dressing (not low fat, but veggies are good).  Then during trianing they brought in cookies.  Yeah I ate 4!  I haven't had cookies in so long!  Then for dinner I had to plates of taco salad.  I should have stopped at 1 but it was so good.  I don't know how I ate it all without feeling like I stuffed myself though cause I drank 2 16 oz glasses of water with it too.  But I did do a 20 minute work out even though we were in a hurry.

Now for not weight loss related things:  We got our  yesterday and I'm so excited to decorate it tonight!  I love Christmas trees and pretty wrapped packages!  Oh and I should find out if we got pregnant this month just in time for a nice Christmas surprise.

DAY 215 - I'm Trying

Ok so I've been kinda MIA lately.  Well not MIA, but the posts have been really short.   The run down is that last Thursday my mom's house almost burnt down.  They use a kerosene heater and something made it start smoldering while they were in bed.  Well nothing actually caught fire, but everything in the house is covered in toxic soot.  Right down to the food and silverware that was in drawers.  My mom and her DF are currently living in a hotel room and my sister has moved in with her BF.  I'm trying to keep my mom and sister's spirits up because this is normally our favorite time of year and nothing is the same as normal.  We probably won't even be able to have Christmas morning at mom's because they probably won't be done fixing the place up and even if they are we won't be able to put the tree up or anything like that.  So I guess this will be our first Christmas at our house.  Everyone one is going to come to our house.

I've also gotten my wedding pictures back and I'm pretty excited about that.  I'll try and post some on here.  If not now maybe tomorrow.  Tonights pool night and I plan on working out first so I won't have time when I get home.

Ok yesterdays food. . .

Breakfast: 1 Serving sausage strata, coffee with eggnog creamer and splenda, Yoplait Light Apple Turnover yogurt

Lunch: Vegetable Beef soup and half a salami and cheese sandwich and a serving of apple sauce.

Dinner: (This is where I screwed up) 2 burger sandwich things and a serving of pasta rice.  These burger things were amazing, but I realized that I should have only made them one at a time so that I wouldn't feel that I had to eat the second one (not that I didn't want to eat it).  They are the type of thing that once they are put together you can't really re-heat them.  Lesson learned!

And for water I had over 77 oz.  This was pretty good considering I didn't drink from 8 - 12 and 12:30 til 4:30.

I also didn't make it to the gym because we're about out of gas, but I did go home and do my 45 minture Turbo Jam Cardio Party DVD.  I'll probably do the 20 minute one tonight before pool!

DAY 214 - I Think I Can

Keep up with my plan.  Yesterday I did really well.

We started getting a snow storm here yesterday so I decided to work out at home instead of the gym, and I actually did it!  40 minutes of Turbo Jam Cardio Party!

Breakfast: Apple Jacks with a cup of skim milk, coffee with eggnog flavor and splenda, Yoplait FF Orange Cream Yogurt.

Lunch: 98% FF Clam Chowder soup, pepperoni sandwich on wheat.

Snack: Apple sauce

Dinner: 1 piece of Shake n Bake Chicken parmesan and maybe 3/4 serving of noodles. (I took a drink of water between every few bites and ended up full and drank a whole bottle of water 23.7oz)

Total water intake: 71.1 oz!

Hopefully I can get on later and check on all of you!

 

DAY 213 - I Can Do it

I just have to stop letting little things get in my way.  I have to chose to go to the gym, even if it's not at my normal time, or if I'm going to get home a little later than normal.  I have to chose to cook even though I don't feel like it and I have to have will power.

These are ll the things that I am going to need to do this week in order to reach my goals.  I want to work out 4 times, drink at least 64 oz of water a day and control portion sizes.  I've been doing the last two quite well.  If I do this I think I can lose 1 lb this week.  That's all I want, 1 lb.

DAY 211 - It's a new week

Well, I did great until Thursday, we had visitors from Japan and I had to take them out to dinner.  We went to a great italian place where we got all sorts of appetizers.  I had 1 chicken wing, two small slices of garlic bread (more like short bread stick size) and some calimari, then for the main dish I had maniccoti with sausage.  I only ate half and for desert we had canolis.  It wouldn't have been so bad if I was able to work out, but at least I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off most of the day.

Yesterday was ok I suppose.  I drank 60 some oz of water, but I didn't work out.  I had a WW pizza for lunch, pop corn for snack and 3 small slices of pizza and 3 chicken wings for dinner.  I think I was a little short on water though.  Today will be better I think cause my sister and I are going to the mall so I'll be walking a lot.

DAY 208 - Another Good Day

It's going to be a quick one cause it's been a long day and I'm ready for bed, but I wanted to let you know how I did yesterday.

Breakfast: Frittata thing from the low fat cook book (1 serving), coffee with eggnog flavor and splenda, half a yoplait yogurt.

Lunch: Pepperoni and cheese sandwich and 98% FF Clam Chowder.

Dinner: Chicken and Rice stir-fry, it was amazing and get this, 1 cup was only .5 grams of fat.  I couldn't believe it.  I ate almost 3 cups, and I probably shouldn't have, but I didn't feel over full when I was done.

I worked out for 20 minutes on my arms and 30 minutes on the elliptical, and again had over 91 oz. water! 

I'm really proud of myself.  Oh and I realized that I mis spoke when I said I wanted to work out 5 times this week.  I didn't realize that I only had 3 days that I was going to be able to, but I plan on working out all 3 of those days.  Tomorrow will be the third day!

Off to be, night!

DAY 207 - Proud!

Yes that's right, I'm proud of myself!  Yesterday I did 30 minutes on my arms and 45 min on the elliptical.  I did a new course and holy cow did it work my legs!  I sweat my butt off and it felt great!  And. . . drum roll please. . . I drank 91 oz water!!!  I'm still trying to hit my mark for today even though I'm supposed to minimize my liquid intake after lunch, starting my pregnancy testing again.  Kind of a pain, but hopefully worth it.  As for my food intake yesterday, I haven't taken the time to figure out the log on here so I'm just going to list it for now:

Breakfast: Coffee with eggnog creamer and splenda, 1 serving Smart Start cereal and 1 cup skim milk, Yoplait FF Banana Cream yogurt

Lunch: Pepperoni and salami sandwich with red. fat mayo and low fat bread, Cambell's sirloin burger soup.

Dinner: 6 oz lean steak and 1 cup home made mashed potatoes (low fat recipe)

Then I got bad cause I was still hungry

Snacks: 2 small pcs bacon while cooking, 1 Hershey's choclate nugget, 1 WW Toffee ice cream, some manderine oranges.

I think I did ok until after dinner and I was still hungry.  I'm going to have to find something heavy, but healthy for a snack.  Besides that I think I had a reawlly good day!

DAY 206 - Starting Over

Last week was terrible, but this week I plan to begin again!  This week I want to work out 5 times.  I'm not putting a time minimum or anything, I just want to work out at least 5 times.  And I want to drink 64oz of water every day.  And I want to track what I eat.  I just need to figure out how the food tracker on here works and we'll bee all set.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  My was pretty good.  I love being able to change my back ground based on the Holidays.  Christmas is my second favorite holiday because I just love the all the decorations!
