Before After

Working my way back...

Yeah, I know I've said it before, but who says I can't say it again!!  I'm back.   Been working out for two weeks now and I think I finally have my eating semi under control.  Please pray for me!!   This journey is exactly that...a journey.  It's filled with ups and downs and a little of everything in between.  I just know that I'm not going to let it defeat me!!  Now, I'm off to the gym!  Chat later!

I sure hope that all of my EP buddies are doing well.  I'm coming by to check on you later.  Have a great weekend!

I'm BACK...AGAIN & AGAIN & AGAIN!

I know, same old love story!!! LOL!!  I watched a special on Fit TV tonight about fat and it scared me to death!!  I think it woke me up out of my food induced coma.  So, here I am ready to try it once again.  I even got up after watching that show and did the Shimmy workout on Fit TV.  For those of you that have never seen it, it is a belly dancing workout.  Let me just say that it was definitely a workout!!  My stomach muscles are already tightening and I only did 30 minutes.  Keep in mind that I haven't worked out in over a month!!

I currently have a foot injury that I am nursing and I have to wear a walking boot.  So, that means that I am going to have to be creative when it comes to exercise.  Well, I'm ready to do something and try to get my eating back under control.  Wish me luck!!

It's A New Week...

Time to put last week behind you and start anew today!!

Good Luck everyone!

The Biggest Loser!!!

Was anyone else crying as hard as I was tonight while watching The Biggest Loser??!!   It is such a motivating show watching regular people accomplish weight loss goals.  Now, I know that they are on the Ranch for weeks with trainers working out for insane hours, but they still did it.  Nobody ran for them or ate for them.  It's just amazing what you can accomplish if you really want it bad enough!!

I've had a slight set back.  I have a foot injury and I now have to wear a walking boot for a few weeks while going through physical therapy.  I really let it kind of get me down today, but I'm not going to sulk over it anymore.  I can still work on my upper body and eat right.  So, I'm still not giving up and I'm going to make the best of my situation.  WOOO HOOOO!!

I hope everyone is having a great week!!

I'll never stop trying...

Well, I'm back!!  I'm so glad that I found this place to keep coming back to.  No matter how often I fall off the path,  I can still keep trying!  I'm determined not to give up.

Last week, my eating was pretty good and I started back exercising.  I made it to the gym twice and I've been slowly adding the stairs back at work.  Last week I made it to the 8th floor which is a challenge in itself.  This week, I'm stepping it up to the 9th floor!!  Wish me luck!

New week...

Don't you love the sound of that??  I do!!  A new week means I can start anew and not worry about what happened last week.  Here's a chance for me to make new goals and get back with the program.

Wish me luck!!

I Always Come Back...

That's a good thing right??!!  No matter how many times I stray, I always come back to this site.

We just purchased a Wii along with the Wii Fit program.  It's so fun and it hardly feels like exercise until the next day!!  At least it has me doing something!!  I even got my husband to do it, which is a plus.

I hope everyone is doing well!

Could be better...

My diet and exercise that is!!  I just really haven't made the commitment yet.  I've done a little exercise and I eat well sometimes, but not enough to really make a difference.  I'm hoping that this week will be my week.

Accountable

So, this week has not been the best.  I've yet to make it to the gym due to late hours at work and my eating has not been where it should be.  Yes, I could make excuses, but the bottom line is, I've got to do better.  Sometimes life just gets in the way, but I've got to make my health more of a priority and I've yet to do that.  Well, tomorrow's another day which means I can start again!!  Isn't that great?!

A New Year, A New Start...

I won't start by saying that losing weight is my New Year's Resolution...been there, done that!!  :duh: I will start by sharing one of my favorite quotes with you..."A year from now, you'll wish you started today".  I mean, who says you can't start over until you get it right??  So, I'm starting off with babysteps to making a healthier me...inside and out.  I'm not sure how or what I will post about so I hope you don't mind the meaningless rambles.  I'm not good with counting anything...points, calories, pounds, etc.  It all becomes too obsessive for me.  I'm just going to try to eat better and exercise more.  We all know what to do, it's just a matter of doing it!!  So here's to a happy and healthier me!!

By the way, I did make it to the gym on Thursday and also on Saturday.  I feel pretty good about that...now if I could only get my eating under control.  Also, I could barely walk after one day of stairs, so obviously...it works.  I think I'll shoot for two days of stairs this week.  Wish me luck!!
