Stayed the same this week, but it IS near TOM...
Hi, scale still shows 164, but I expect that will change once TOM arrives; so long as I don't lose track before then! I'm going to do a workout DVD or class every day until January 8 (next weigh-in); so we'll see what happens.
New Year's Eve was very quiet, but nice. We got 8 inches of snow, here in Boston, but I got let out of work early, so it wasn't so bad. I'm off until Tuesday.
HAPPY NEW YEAR and have a great weekend, everyone!
Cheers, (carole)

Christmas Weight: 164.0 -- 51 lbs. lost so far!
Hi, Everyone! Happy Holidays! Still working off my Thanksgiving weight gain, and it looks like I LOST a pound around the holidays! (Let's see what New Year's Day brings!)
What I'm not so satisifed about, is that I've backtracked on working out a bit, but I plan to fix that soon.
Enjoy the season! More on New Year's Day!
Love, (carole, xO)

AW, YEAH! Back at the 50 lbs. down mark!
Hello, Everyone!
Happy Holidays! Sure, Boston has about eighteen inches of snow on the ground; however, I am pleased to report that Weight Watchers at Work Weigh-in on Thursday, December 18 read 164.2! Since I round up any tenth-pound increments to the next whole pound, I recorded that as 165, meaning I'm BACK at my 50 lbs. lost total! The scale is actually reading 162 now, but I'm not entering that until it's official, or this Christmas morning at ~11AM, that is!
LOTS of year-end stuff going on at work right now, and I want to cut out early on Wednesday; so I can't stay long. I just wanted to post a quick update.
Best wishes for a wonderful week, all!

NO CHANGE THIS WEEK! :(
Hi, everyone, I guess it's better than gaining, but WW weigh-in says I stayed the same this week: 168.0. (Up eight pounds from my lowest home weigh-in of 159.) Oh, well, it's the holidays and all that -- but from here on in: NO EXCUSES!
Our WW leader launched the new "Momentum" plan today and I am going to follow this to a "T" this week and see what happens. One of the tenets is to work out at least 30 minutes per day (not necessarily all at once) and I definitely plan to do that. Looks like they are encouraging foods of high nutritional value, water and fiber (similar to Core foods) but they want us to track as well.
I also have fewer points to work with, but I think with the new eating guidelines I should be able to eat until satisfied and still stay within my point range. Psychologically speaking, I do not want to give them up, but I will try it.
Have a great weekend, everyone! I'll be sure to post again by next weigh-in!
Cheers, (carole, xO)

The VERDICT is IN: UP 7.4 lbs.! (in 2 weeks)
Okay, Everyone,
Time to "face the music"! Weight Watchers weighed me in at 11AM today at 168 lbs.! (B-but...but...but...but I was 160.6 just two weeks ago!) As I mentioned before, I will only record whole numbers from now on (rounding up to the next pound), but as it happens, I weighed in at a round number today (and I do mean, "ROUND"!) So yeah, I gained almost EIGHT POUNDS in a mere two weeks! (Sure is easy to put this back on!) It doesn't help that I only worked out on 1 day out of this 2-week period, either. {oops.}
It's okay, though; I can fix it. It is now only 3 weeks before Christmas, but if I work out at least 1 hour (total) per day 'til then and stick to my 1400 calorie (28 pts.) daily max, then I should have all this damage undone by then! (160 lbs. or less). I'm going to a Chrismas Eve party and I'm hoping to make an impression on those who haven't seen me in awhile by wearing something really "show-off" and looking good in it! That will be a nice reward!
Even after this appalling lapse, I'm still down a total of 47, so that's good. Sure, I'm a little disappointed in myself, but I refuse to wallow in regret and shame. SO....Here I go again!
Another challenge, I pledge not to get on the scale (at ALL!) until next Thursday, December 11. I'm hoping to get a pleasant surprise when I wake up in the morning and again at the WW meeting. It is my goal to see a loss of at least four pounds by then. I think I can do it.
Whew! I'm glad I got this out in the open. NOW I can move on!
Cheers and best wishes everyone!

CRASH & BURN REGAIN DISASTER!
My home scale says I gained about SEVEN pounds now (167?!)! Are you {expletive deleted} me?! I call "DO-OVER"!!! When Weight Watcher's launches their new plan this week is my new leaf...UhHUH! No, REALLY! (We all know how it happened!) Now I've gotta NIX it and FIX it!
I must confess this to unburden myself of this weight (literally AND figuratively) and move on. I will begin recording my Weight Watchers weigh-in on my blog as my official weigh-in, even though it's with clothes on and after breakfast. That way, it will be an upper limit record so I know that it is the most I weigh at a given point. SO...NOW my weight log date is going to be Thursday.
A BIG part of this is that I haven't worked out (at ALL) in almost 2 weeks. When I am regularly active, everything else comes into focus. When I don't MOVE, everything seems to fall apart. Thanksgiving was just an excuse. I WILL make amends before the New Year, when I will recover my lost ground (and weight)!
Here's to looking UP (or should I say, DOWN?)!
Cheers, everyone! (Love, Carole, xO)

Sure CAN do a LOT of damage in one week!
Hi! Hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving holiday weekend!
{OOPS!} My scale said 164 this AM (up from 159-160 last week)! How did that happen? Why, Chomp, chomp, CHOMP and gulp, gulp, GULP, that's how! Also, I did not work out at all in probably the last ten days or so, so that accounts for much of it as well. Wish I could say it was worth it, but I don't think so, 'cause now I have to UNDO the DAMAGE! It's okay, though. I've done this before, a few times. If I reverse the trend now then I won't have to worry come the New Year. I've simply GOT to get moving again, that's the main thing. That and staying away from "recreational beverages", that is. (The only "sweets" I find hard to resist!)
I call "Do-Over" for me and everyone else who may have overindulged this past week. Holiday season is in full swing and I'm planning to enjoy it!
Cheers and have a great week, everybody!

Post-Thanksgiving week "Bingeing"!
{OOPS!} Saturday's weight shows 161, but I can go back down if I get back tomorrow, effective immediately and add a few workout sessions before my next Weight Watcher's weigh-in at work on Thursday, December 4.
I have only one thing to say: "IT WAS WORTH IT!"
Hope all of you had a nice Thanksgiving, too!
Cheers for a GREAT weekend, everyone!
