Hi! Hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving holiday weekend!
{OOPS!} My scale said 164 this AM (up from 159-160 last week)! How did that happen? Why, Chomp, chomp, CHOMP and gulp, gulp, GULP, that's how! Also, I did not work out at all in probably the last ten days or so, so that accounts for much of it as well. Wish I could say it was worth it, but I don't think so, 'cause now I have to UNDO the DAMAGE! It's okay, though. I've done this before, a few times. If I reverse the trend now then I won't have to worry come the New Year. I've simply GOT to get moving again, that's the main thing. That and staying away from "recreational beverages", that is. (The only "sweets" I find hard to resist!)
I call "Do-Over" for me and everyone else who may have overindulged this past week. Holiday season is in full swing and I'm planning to enjoy it!
Hi, Every time I try to post my Saturday weight, it keeps changing to Fridays...so...my next weigh-in will be Friday, December, 5, then every Friday thereafter.
{OOPS!} Saturday's weight shows 161, but I can go back down if I get back tomorrow, effective immediately and add a few workout sessions before my next Weight Watcher's weigh-in at work on Thursday, December 4.
Hi, Everyone! YES! I did make it to the 150s (JUST!) by Thanksgiving! However, I'm reporting it as 160 to allow myself a little "leeway" for the Thanksgiving FEAST!
In addition, I've decided to no longer report incremental gains/losses except to the whole pound; in other words, none of this ".2" and ".6" and so on. I tend to fluctuate too much; so to make it easier I'm just going to round up to the next whole pound and report that. (The scale DID say 159.0 this AM, but like I said, I entered 160 so I could have a "splurge day cushion". (NOTE: I say, "day" and not "week", because I can do a LOT of damage in one week!) I still have to be C-A-R-E-F-U-L-!
I am going out to dinner with a friend this evening, but she's on Weight Watchers, too and has dropped 35 lbs. so far; so we can help each other not to overdo. (We'll have to ask them not to bring the bread and dip to the table, for a start!) It's at "Not Your Average Joe's" and they have a lot of healthy choices; so it shouldn't be too hard.
I'm going to allow myself a "real" Thanksgiving dinner, but I'm not going to go WAY overboard, and I AM planning to track everything. (I also intend to work out more so I can burn some of that off.)
So now I'm down over 55 lbs.! I started on February 25, so tomorrow will be nine months! Think of how many BABIES that would be if this had been a nine-month pregnancy! Why, I just had septuplets, or something, LOL!
Wishing everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving week! I am very thankful for all of my EP friends! Cheers! (xO)
Hi, Everyone! I am pleased to announce another pound gone. At 161, I have now lost a total of 54 lbs., which is over 25% of my initial body weight of 216 lbs.!
I might even be down MORE, because this morning (Sunday) my scale said 159!!! HOWever, last night I went to a Bulgarian dance party and probably lost a LOT of water; so I'll have to wait until Saturday, 11/22 (my son's 25th birthday!) to see if it sticks.
I'm hoping I can be TRULY in the 150's by Thanksgiving. If I keep up with the walking and dancing, I'm sure I will!
Hi, everyone! My Aunt Tom and Uncle Flo have arrived, PLUS I finally got my act back together; so now I weigh 162! (Official entry will be Saturdays going forward; so I won't enter it into my log until tomorrow.
I have Monday and Tuesday off; so it's a four-day weekend coming up for me. (Maybe I will FINALLY finish cleaning my bedroom?)
I want to be in the 150s by Thanksgiving; so that's my new goal. I'm going to dance and walk like a fiend to try to get there so I can indulge a little bit on Turkey Day!
Have a wonderful weekend, everyone! I will try to check out all of your pages tomorrow!
{oops.} Okay, I KNOW what happened. Sure, my TOM is due around November 4, but that's not ALL of it!
I've slipped and fallen off the wagon a bit -- but now I'm BACK ON!
I haven't been working out much this past week, and I don't want to even confess what I've been eating (and drinking), but let's hope I can stay back on track so I'm at least back where I was by Friday, November 7!
I wasn't even going to post, but I need to face reality so I can keep this lapse in check and keep it as a "temporary setback" and learning experience.
It's getting near "that time". I'm expecting a visit from "Uncle Tom and Aunt Flo" by around November 4, and my experience has been that I usually put on 2-4 around this time; so I'm expecting once that's over I should be around 160-161. We'll see...!
Have a terrific weekend, everyone! Cheers and Don' t Forget to DANCE!
Hi, Everyone! HAPPY FRIDAY! I now weigh 163 lbs. -- a total loss of 52 pounds since February 25 of this year (33 weeks)! My new size 12s are too big for me, and I have tried on several size 10 pants that fit! (Although I haven't bought any yet.) I did buy a skirt for a Halloween party I'm going to that is a size -- get ready -- 8!!! (Yeah, it has 4% spandex, but I'll take it!)
Average weight loss per week? 1.5757575757575757575757575757576!
Weight Watchers weigh-in said 164, but that was with all my clothes on and after breakfast. This morning my scale said 162.6; so there!
I'm very encouraged by this. I plateau'ed for 5 weeks, but after adding ACTIVITY, l lost another 8 pounds over the next 5 weeks. THIS is the absolute KEY for me. Being more and more active enables me to "splurge" once in awhile, avoid plateaus and LOSE! Try it, and see if it works for you!
Have a winning weekend, everyone! Cheers, (carole, xO)
