Happy New Year
Ah hah, I see I'm not the ONLY one who sets monthly goals for working out & behavior. Well done -- a half-marathon is a biggie, at least for someone like me it would be.
BTW, I just surfed in off the EP homepage. You've done very well.
CONGRATS on the goals & all the achievements, and congrats on your scale moving down. It IS hard to deal with a stuck scale or a small gain, even when I measure & my clothes get more loose & I've done everything completely according to plan. That is very frustrating, but I try to constantly remind myself that the scale is just one, VERY limited, marker on this journey.
Even so, it's great when it goes down! Here's to a wonderful 2007 for you, me & everyone @ EP.
Be well, Ella

Couch 2 5k?????
Becki~ I just have to ask, how long did you train for before you were able to run your first 5k? I have a 5k this coming April that I would like to run but I was wondering if thats too early. What do you think?

Whoa!
That is one heck of a rotation, but I know you can do it. I am currently doing a one hour runner program from www.coolrunning.com, but I'm thinking that instead of time I may start running based on the distance. I've cut my running to only 2 days a week because I really felt like I needed another day of rest. Do you think since I've only been running a few months that I should wait to take a day away? Let me know when you get a chance and Happy New Year to you as well.
Did I tell you I won a guitar signed by Casting Crowns? I must take a pic and post it for ya.
