Thanksgiving Update
Thanksgiving was not pretty as far as diet and exercise are concerned, but it was great being with family!
It all started for me the weekend before with the Church Banquet. I ate and ate and ate. Then there were no workouts for a day or two... then our WORK Thanksgiving dinner on Tuesday.
I still didn't work out....
Then Wednesday I cooked and cleaned.. and cooked and cleaned, and, did I mention that I cooked and cleaned? . Thanksgiving dinner with DH's family was to be at my house. So, of course, no time for a workout.
Thursday, well, of COURSE, no workout and I ate myself silly.
DH's brother and sister in law came over late, after the rest of his family had left, and they stayed until Saturday. It was great spending some time with them. We had a great time. And I did actually force myself to get out of bed early on Saturday and do a 2 mile run. After they left and we got the Christmas tree up, I popped in The Firm's Body Sculpt. I later discovered that it was NOT a wise selection after not working out for a week.
MAN, am I still sore!
Sore or not, I ran 5 miles yesterday morning, but had to forego my workout for this morning (Firm CAWT), since movement is difficult enough. I can't imagine hopping around with Emily or "getting down with the fanny lifter" at this point.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and truly counted their blessings.
