Before After

I'm all better now....

I just wanted to say thank you to all of my friends for checking up on me.  I did go to the doctor and he said I did have a urinary tract infection (which was causing the low grade fever) but it didn't appear to be affecting my kidneys themselves... the pain in my back was not exactly in the "area" of the kidneys.  It was just muscle strain from all the moving.  I have been drinking lots and lots of water and taking my meds as prescribed, and I feel back to 100% now.  YAY!

I actually got outside yesterday morning for a long run, and it felt GREAT!  And I will actually get to do my race Saturday after all!!  The doc gave the green light and said "Go for it and bring home a trophy!"  LOL

Thank you so much for all of your well-wishes.  It means so much!

Yesterday after my run it was a very lazy day.  We moved a little more stuff from my dad's and did some unpacking and straightening and even brought the dog home from my dad's to get him acquainted with his new home.  After that, we all watched basketball games for the rest of the day.  My husband's Cleveland Cavaliers lost big time, but they are plagued with injuries right now, but my Suns won, even though I fell asleep in the 2nd quarter.

Well, getting back to work now.  I'll try to catch up on everyone's blogs later in the day.  I hope that you are all doing well!

yay

I am so glad you are feeling better.  Can't wait to hear how you do on your race on Saturday.  Went to a lecture on preparing to run last night....my next investment(s) will be getting fitted for proper shoes and a good sports bra...so I don't have to hold the girls while I wog.

Great!

So glad you are doing better.  Where is your race saturday?     If you are prone to the UTIs, the thing that helps me is to drink the Just Cranberry Juice. It's expensive, it's tart, but I swear by it.     I usually keep some in the fridge for whenever I feel one coming on.  It's over on the health food aisle at Publix.    Hope you do great in your race.

Whew!

Glad you're feeling better, and looking forward to hearing your race report!
