Before After

I feel yucky!

Well, I am still  not feeling any better.  I'm convinced it's a kidney infection, and I'm in some pain and feel just plain yucky, low grade fever/chills/pain in back and side, etc....  I guess I am going to end up at the doctor.  I called to make an appointment, and they didn't have anything available until tomorrow... so hopefully I can hold out until then.  If not, I may end up going to the ER to get checked out tonight.

My husband had to threaten me last night to get me to stop unpacking and lay down since I was feeling so bad... He finally said "You need to sit down, and get some rest.  If you pass out because you're acting stupid, I am not going to pick you up and take you to the Emergency Room!"  LOL.. Knowing he WOULD take me, but he got his point across.  I stopped what I was doing and laid down, and I was asleep by 8:30.  Very unusual for me!

So, right now, it looks like this.... I have a 12K in 10 days.... I haven't run in a week.  I feel like crap.   I REALLY want to run this race!  I planned on it last year and something happened and I wasn't able to,  I just don't want to have to do that again!

Well, I have tons of work piling up on my desk.  I should probably attempt to do some of it.  Have a wonderful Wednesday everyone!

Be careful

A month ago or so I got really sick too...last thing you want to ignore is a kidney infection.  I was feeling crummy all week and finally stopped into a clinic and found out I had a 103 fever and a really bad kidney infection that put me down for more than a week.  Health has to come first! Good luck

AWWWW

I hope you feel better soon.  And I totally agree with Thinner3 - I've had a kidney infection that I tried to ignore thinking it would just 'go away' - wrong answer!  Hope you get into the Dr's today - keep us posted!  Thinkin' 'bout cha girl!

the sooner

you get treated ....the sooner you will be back in action.  So take care of your self.....please......

Feel better soon...

Becki - hope you get what you need to feel better quick!

There is a

home kidney infection test. might be something to look into. I really hope you get to feeling better soon and well enought to do the race! Get some rest girl!

get well soon!!

I know how your feeling :( get plenty of rest and I hope you feel better soon!

Hello

How are you doing Becki?????  I am concerned about you knowing how you have been pushing yourself.  Did you see the Dr.??  What did he say??  I know you want to run that race, however, your health is the most important thing.  If you don't take care of your body, you won't have to worry about ANY races.  There will be LOTS of other races in your life.  Just take care of YOU right now.  Blessings to you.  Chargail

Hope your feeling better

Hey Becki,

I hope you are feeling better and you had the weekend to rest up. You have had alot going on these past couple of weeks, you need some rest.
