Before After

Binge Day

I had such a great food day and good workouts yesterday and felt sooo unbelievable this morning... You know those "skinny days" when you just feel lighter??  Well, all of the is shot right to H-E- double hockey sticks this afternoon.  I have eaten anything and everything under the sun this afternoon.  I did wonderful until after lunch, and then it was all shot down.,,,

But, I am getting up off my butt now, blogging about it, and moving on with the rest of my day.  If I eat very light for the rest of the day, I can still come in under my calorie limit for the day.  It's not a total loss.  At least I had a nice healthy breakfast and lunch.   And dinner will be the same.  It's just those darn snacks in between.

And working later than usual doesn't help matters any.  I had to change my schedule to help DH get the kids to school in the mornings.  He was having a hard time getting them all to where they need to be and still get ready for work, since they are at 3 different schools now.  So, NOW I am taking the older two, who can be at their schools by 7, and then heading in to work at 7:30 and getting off at 4pm, rather than my old schedule of 6 am to 2:30.  I've noticed when I work later, I snack more.  It's a mental thing I think.  This building's regular schedule is 6 - 2:30, and there are not many here after that time, so when it slows down and the building is quiet, I get bored, I guess and want to eat.  Still doesn't explain today though... considering it's only 1:30 now and I have already gone insane for the day.

Whew... what rambling!  Must be the sugar rush from the OREO COOKIES!  LOL.

So anyway, I should get back to work now.  Have a great day.  I plan to be back on track for the remainder of it and still come in under my calorie limit.  I WILL do it.

Your glass is still half full!

You are so are target it's not even funny.  What I mean is, sure you slipped up - but look what you've done - you've put yourself back on track for the rest of day.  The easy way out would have been just to chalk up the rest of the day as a loss and REALLY defeated yourself.  BUT YOU DIDN'T!  You got over the bump in the road without driving off the road - GOOD FOR YOU!

And you're right - you WILL do it!

I have faith

In you , Becky...I know you can do it.

Maybe push a little more water...to flush out a sin or 2????

Kudos!

Kudos to you for not calling the day a wash!! It is so easy to just go crazy the rest of the day once you hit a bump!!

great idea

I'll kick butt in the weight loss, get $120....buy a super cute outfit for the 5k....and have some $$ left.

I actually have run in races before....I ran track in highschool went to state in the 440 (that was back in the day when we used yards instead of meters!)...then after I had Tiffany (tiffrus, the comment above)...I started running to lose my baby fat....I remember she was sitting on her daddy's shoulders watching me come across the finish line of my 1st 5k saying "mommy's crazy".....the last time I ran....it was a 10k, I was 30.......I was pregnant with my son (who is now 22).....just never got back to it...

my how time flies!

Thats the way to do it girl!

Just move on. Too many times I think we wallow in our little bumps in the road. But they are just that...bumps.. not big pits we can't get out of! Just stay positive and focused!  YES YOU WILL DO IT!!!
