I hate waiting. Anticipation.... KNOWING that something good is coming, but not having it quite YET. My husband ordered the P90X system for me for Christmas, and I'm still waiting for it to arrive. I can't wait to get started, but I can't yet! So frustrating. Hopefully it'll be here to start 2008!
I am doing ok with my new resolve to not overeat on the Christmas goodies that are still in the fridge. I managed to give away all of the fudge at work yesterday but the rice krispy treats and the cherry pie still linger in the fridge. The cherry pie is not that big a deal... I'm not a big fan... but the rice krispy treats are another story entirely. I may just throw the rest of them out tonight when we take the Christmas tree down... all Christmas stuff out by tonight.
I ran 2.5 miles last night on the treadmill and walked another half mile (warm up and cool down) and did a little ab work after my run. I am already feeling my abs this morning. Who knew I even HAD abs!!!? I'm like.. WOW... they ARE underneath that layer of fat somewhere.
Check out the abs on this 44 year old mom of 6... (2nd from the left of the pic...) Ceci St. Geme.... She runs 45 miles a week!!! And I soooo want her abs!
Ok, so back to work now... At break time, I am going out walking and hopefully try to squeeze in a little walk at lunch too. I am doing a virtual walk challenge on another site. I have 1947 miles to walk/run from my town to Phoenix Arizona!
Have a happy and blessed Thursday everyone.

Thank you!!!
I just wanted to stop by and thank you for coming by my blog and commenting today. :)
Rice Krispie treats really do not have a lot of calories in them. I eat them all of the time for a little sweet snack. I buy the ones that are individually wrapped and they only have 90 calories in them.
Sounds like you had a great Christmas....and the anticipation of waiting for that last big gift...kinda makes the whole thing last longer right? I am lovin' the heart monitor.....in fact I'm fixin' to go for an outside walk since the weather is pretty nice and see how I do.
