Today was much much better
Today was a much better day than yesterday. I stayed on track with my eating all day and drank lots and lots of water. I ran 3.1 miles on the treadmill tonight at 10:45 min/mile pace... which is much better than I have been doing. Plus I did some strength training that I skipped out on last night.
I have another interesting story.... about God's provision. Today I was stressing out all day long about how my kids don't have Christmas presents and I have my car payment this paycheck, so I didn't know what I was gonna do.... Well, I was thinking about it when I left work, and as I was driving to the high school to pick up my daughter, I prayed "God, I know that you will make a way... you have always provided when I was in need, and I am trusting you with this now. I give it to You, I leave it on the altar...." And I did. I let it go.
When I got home I had a letter from my finance company stating that they were changing the due date for my car payment and it would now be due on the 7th of each month. My NEXT payday! Sure, I'll still have bills that week that I would usually have to pay, but it gives me a little more money to work with for my kids' Christmas. God is so good.
