Checking In

Just wanted to check in.... Yesterday was a FIRM workout.  It was supposed to be my ab circuit, but I opted to do cardio instead,  so tonight I will probably do my ab circuit after I finish my run.

Food yesterday:

breakfast - Kashi Go Lean Truly Vanilla Oatmeal, coffee

lunch - Chicken of the Sea Salmon Steak in Honey Barbecue Sauce, side salad

dinner - Lean Cuisine French Bread Pepperoni Pizza

Snacks - Kashi Go Lean Crunch cereal, dry; Weight Watcher's Yogurt - Amaretto Cheesecakd flavor

So far today -

breakfast - none... just coffee. I forgot to bring my oatmeal to work with me.

lunch - eating right now... salad and cran-water

I still haven't had a diet soda... so Saturday will be 2 weeks!  YAY!  I almost bought one last night when I had to stop by the grocery store for milk, but I didn't!  (I almost bought a candy bar too... and Little Debbie cakes, and a whole bunch of crap I didn't need.)

I am gonna finish my lunch break now.

Good job on resisting the soda last night - along with the evil snacks lol.

I sometimes wonder if anyone is reading.  South Beach can be hard some times, but it really works for me so I just have to remind myself to stick with it.

I stopped drinking Pop about three weeks ago, and I lost two pounds right away.   It's definitely something we don't need to have.  Now, I just stick with my crystal light.  It's good enough for me.

Good luck on your training for the half marathon.  It's something I've always wanted to do, but haven't convinced myself to do yet.

Hello

to you in Warner Robbins......

I read some of your previous post so I could sorta get introduced to you.  That is amazing about the video tape.  You are right.....so much of the time we don't see ourselves as we really are.  My thing is that I am totally down on myself most of the time.  Not a good trait I know, but a trait never the less.

I want to try to inspire you on your journey to run the half marathon.  You can so do this.  Have you checked out B-Kay or Shelley's blogs??  They are both runners and can be a real motivator for you.

Blessings to you for great success and keep up the good job that you are doing.   Chargail
