Keeping myself accountable
I totally love Fitday.com! I have been really trying to utilize it as a real tool to help me stay accountalbe for what I eat. As long as I tell myself I am actually going to enter everything that I eat and be truthful... and actually DO IT... It really keeps me accountable about what I eat and helps me to see how those calories really add up. I do great when I am actually entering everything... I mean, why the heck would I eat it if I know I have to put it in there and LOOK at it later on!
I have been keeping up with my workouts according to the workout calendar I made. Even when I don't feel like exercising, I make myself do it (Like last night)... But my half marathon training plan hasn't started yet. It's not until I am working toward a real goal that I tend to start slacking... go figure! My 16 week training plan begins Monday.
Here's a run-down of the last couple of days workouts:
Wednesday - Gym workout - 2 miles on the treadmill, (5.5 mph) and 18 minutes on the elliptical.
Thursday - 3 mile run on treadmill (between 5 and 5.5 mph)
Today will be an upper body circuit that I got from the FIRM's bulletin boards. I may hop on the treadmill for a mile or two, depending on how I feel.
So far today I am sitting at 574 calories eaten for breakfast, lunch and snack. I am proud to report that it was (mostly) good stuff. The only exception is the 2 butterfinger miniature bars.
Well, back to work now.... Have a great weekend (if anyone is reading).
