Ready to take on the day

I set my alarm last night to wake up this morn at 6am to go to the gym... however when the thing went off this morning, i hit snooze and tried to reason why i shouldnt go to the gym.  So i laid there... trying to go back to sleep...  and i said to myself... im not going to get thin laying in bed. 
SO i got UP!  At 6:20 and headed my big ol' butt to the gym.  I had a great workout and on my way home i called my trainer and told her the story.  She was so proud of me shes coming over to my gym tonight and gunna work me out again, lol.  Hey- a free session is a good thing, ill tak eit!

hump day

I went to the gym last night after work- and i felt so winded after only 40 mins on the treadmill.  I wasnt too tired going in, but i felt like i just didnt have it in me.  Today i did abs and arms at home, and im going to do some cardio after work at the gym. 
On the new job front, it looks promising... im just so tired of changing jobs.  I want to love what i do and get paid well for doing it.  So- well see.  The district manager of the company is going to be calling me within the next few days to setup an interview.  Keep your fingers crossed.
Im determinded to give it all that i have tonight on that damn treadmill.  Ugh.

new week....

I wen tto the gym 5 times last week.  Thats the most ive gone in one week since i dont know when.  Im on a roll!
I got a phone call yesterday from a former employer, offering me a better job than the one i had when i was there.  Something to think about.  It would definitely alleviate financial problems, but theres a lot of politics and such to weigh out.

TGIF

I am soooo glad the weekend is here!! 
I worked out with my trainer last night, and good lord am i sore today.  Work was a little bit of a struggle to get through.  I was booked all day and had a tough time foiling, blowdrying, pretty much doing hair at all today.... lol.
I went out with the girls last night, only one drink which was prob about 200 cals, and i had a few sweet potatoe fries.  Not too bad considering everyone around me was eating pizza.
I am going to take a cat nap- exhausted... then go to the gym a little later on after the busy crowd has left (fridays between 3-6 are insane).  Then im going to settle in and watch a movie.  I think either 7 pounds or slumdog millionaire.  They both sound so good.
Tomorrow im working out with Ruth again, then going to a friends bday party with my guy.

Maniac

Yep...went to the gym twice yesterday.  And i still had tons of energy when i got home... i did however have a really hard time sleeping after working out so hard.  I think i might have to get some "sleepytime' tea to calm myself down at night.
Im meeting my trainer tonight and im actually really excited to workout with her.
Short post, i know... off to work!  have a great day ladies!!

Pumpin' Iron!

Well!!  I got up early this morn and got my butt to the gym.  Walked/jogged for 45 mins and then did some strength and ab exercises.  Lord my abs are already sore.  I have so much energy right now i could do some more, but i have to leave for work in about 5 mins.  I might actually go back to the gym tonight or exercise at home depending on how late i have to stay at work. 
Please help me to remember this feeling on the days i dont feel like working out.  I feel like i can accomplish anything and can do this whole weight loss thing.  I can do this! 
Its going to be a fabulous day!  Happy HUMP day ladies!!

tough weekend

Ive been really stressed about finances...but i managed last week to not take it out on myself by eating badly.  Sunday, however was a different story.  Tom and I went out to sushi... not too bad.  Theres lots of protein, but also lots of carbs.  I went a little overboard.  Then we went to icecream.  Yeah, Back on track yesterday, and today.  Im going to go to the gym tonight after work to hopefully makeup for this past weekend. 
Im not too discouraged.  Im trying to realize that it is only one day and it was kind of bound to happen because i was so stressed out.  It could have been worse.

Feelin' Fine

Still feeling great!  I was stuck at work till 10pm last night, so i wasnt able to get to the gym before it closed, but im meeting my trainer there tonight.  So excited!!  I havent worked out with her for almost 2 weeks bc of the cleanse. 
Eating on plan so far today... i made a really hearty soup a couple days ago and ive been using that for meals....
not much else to blog about today.  Have a great day girls!

Down 13 lbs

The cleanse was one of the most difficult things ive ever done...  Liquid only fasting for 5 days was awful! But...I did it!  And i shed 13 lbs in the process.  I feel like im back on!  I have a ton of energy today andim happy to start eating again, slowly.  I had an organic apple for bfast (its what they recommend the first day back) and ill have a small salad for lunch, same for dinner + a protein.
Tomorrow i start Phase 1 of the south beach diet.  No carbs, no alcohol, no sugar.  So im going to be eating really clean and oddly enough... after the deprivation of this past week... i cant wait for it.  Tom's going to make me seared ahi tuna with my salad tonight... i cant wait!! YUM!! Its like sushi, raw in the middle... i loooove it! 
I made a white bean soup this morning (south beach recipe, i added xtra veggies tho) for my meals for the next couple days, with a salad.  I think im all set!!
I start back at the gym tomorrow, yay!

Day 3

Im going onto day 3 of my "cleanse" and so far so good.  Im weaning down my meals for the last day, today... and tomorrow i start a 5 day liquid only fast.  Im excited to lose some lbs just by doing whats "natural".  My sister, whos an RN, told me... after the cleanse, my intestines will be more efficient... yay!
On other news, im just doing low impact workouts this week... yoga and a few exercises on a ball each day. 
Im off to work!
