Week Three

Sunday, August 13th  Week 2 is officially over and I'm down another 1.6 lbs. (Total of 7.7lbs, in 2 weeks on MF) Not as much as I'd like, but I'm still moving in the right direction at least. My new BMI is 28.1, "marginally overweight".

  • MF Meal #1 - 7:30am, Banana Creme Shake
  • MF Meal #2 - 11:00am, Apple-Cinnamon Oatmeal cookies - pretty good!
  • MF Meal #3 - 2:15pm, Cream of Broccoli Soup
  • L&G - 5:30pm, Garden salad with 7 oz. grilled chicken breast, light ranch
  • SNACK: 1 cup SF Jell-o
  • MF Meal #4 - 8:00pm, Oatmeal Raisin bar
  • MF Meal #5 - 10:30pm, Swiss Mocha Shake
  • WATER TOTAL:  32 oz. 

Monday, August 14th  Yesterday was a true test of my will-power and I ACED it!!  I made two of my family's favorite foods (Chicken n' Dumplings & Pimiento Cheese Spread) and didn't even taste them. I could normally, just about eat my weight in these 2 foods - they are that good! LOL

  • MF Meal #2 - 11:30am, Apple-Cinnamon Oatmeal cookies w/almond extract. Mmmmm...
  • SNACK:  1:30pm, 1 cup SF Jell-o
  • MF Meal #3 - 2:30pm, Lemon Fantasy Bar
  • L&G - 5:30pm, garden salad with 4 oz. albacore tuna fillet and 1 boiled egg
  • MF Meal #4 - 8:30pm, Chicken Noodle Soup
  • MF Meal #5 - 11:00pm, Chocolate Pudding
  • WATER TOTAL:  48 oz.

    Tuesday, August 15th  I did my usual weigh, re-weigh, weigh-again... ritual this am. It said 167.8 first, then 166.6 a few times, then went back to 167.8 so we'll stick with that for now.

  • MF Meal #1 - 8:15am, Banana Creme Shake
  • MF Meal #2 - 11:30am, Chocolate DIvine Bar (OMGosh! Was it that good the last time?? it tasted like a brownie today!)
  • MF Meal #3 - 2:45pm, Chicken & Wild Rice Soup (with a wee bit Sazon Goya), MF Whole Grain crackers
  • MF Meal #4 - 4:30pm, Chocolate pudding
  • L&G - 7 oz. chicken breast with 1.5 cups steamed green beans
  • WATER TOTAL:  48 oz.

    Wednesday, August 16th

  • MF Meal #1 - 8am, Swiss Mocha Shake
  • MF Meal #2  - 11am, Chocolate Divine Bar
  • SNACK - 12:30pm, Apple-Cinnamon Soy crisps
  • MF Meal #3  - 2:30pm, Chili
  • MF Meal #4  - 4:45pm, Banana pudding with SF Carmel syrup - YUMM
  • L&G - 7:45pm, garden salad with 4 oz. grilled chicken and 2 Tbs Light Ranch.  I also had 2 eggs - just feeling like I need a wee bit more protein today.
  • MF Meal #5 - 12:30am, Hot Cocoa
  • WATER TOTAL: 48 oz.

    Thursday, August 17th

  • MF Meal #1 - 8am, Vanilla Shake with SF carmel syrup
  • MF Meal #2 - 1pm, Smore's bar - ooppsss too much time in between meals.
  • MF Meal #3 - 4pm,  Chili with 1 pack MF Crackers 
  • L&G - 7pm, Grilled Ahi with steamed broccoli
  • MF Meal #4 - Cream of Chicken soup - so not my favorite!
  • WATER TOTAL: 40 oz. so far

    Friday, August 18th  OK - this was one wild day, so my meals were all off!!  I started out ok, albeit a little late, but then somehow I ended up buying a van, which we all know takes ALL day. SO, I missed quite a few MF meals today.  I ended up grabbing a grilled chicken salad at Ruby Tuesday's with Light Ranch though...maybe I can squeeze in one more meal before bed.  But - I'm down to 166.4 today & I have a NEW VAN!!! It's so beautiful.

  • MF Meal #2 - 11:30am, Chocolate Divine Bar
  • L&G - 8:30pm, Grilled Chicken Ceasar salad from Ruby Tuesday's minus the Ceasar and the crotons. (Light Ranch)

    Saturday, August 19th  Last day of week three...still going strong!  165.4 today!!   Today was another complicated day!  Two soccer games on separate sides of the island, finishing up the van deal, a Pampered Chef open house @ my friend's!  I missed 2 Medi-meals again today, BUT I did NOT touch a single bite at the PC Party!!  Success!
