Time to get into action - Kick off!

Well now that that christmas/new year's holidays have come to an end I've decided it's time to get myself sorted out. I've always been a pretty big bloke, a few years back i topped the scales at around 175kg. With some hard work and determination I managed to lose 40KG over a period of about 9 months. I felt great at the time and the weight loss had given me confidence in myself that I had never had before. Since then i've put weight on and lost it again a couple of times and at best got myself down to 135kg.

The last time I jumped on the scales was mid November 2008 and I was sitting on 135kg. I was supprised this morning when I jumped on the scales again and got a reading of 145kg.

So my plan is to loose 25-30kg over the next 4-5 months. How? well when I shed the weight a few years back I did it by using Lite 'n Easy (for non-australians this is a dietry/meal service where all meals are prepared and deliverd weekly, controlling calorie intake to 1500 per day). Last time round diet alone was enough to shed the weight, this time I intend to  do 1-2 hours of cardio exercise each day in addition to the Lite 'n Easy meals, i'm a lot more active now so don't see this as being to over the top.

Anyway, see how I go, will keep you posted!

Good luck

Hey, good luck with your loss! I hope everything goes according to plan.

How are the Lite 'n' Easy meals? I've considered those before, but am (surprisingly...) a very picky eater.

I'm on the meal replacement shakes, and getting results so far.

Re: Good Luck

The meal's are good.. I too used to be a picky eater but there's very rarely something in the meal's that I won't eat.

I've tried the shakes before.. I just couldn't stick to them, they work, but it's so hard not eating anything (it was for me anyway)..
