Still going
Im still going, I havent given up. Last week was a bad week for me (personal stuff), but its in the past so Im not going to dwell on any of that. I did gain 2 pounds, but im working this week on getting rid of them. My head is a little clearer and Im able to pay more attention to things and focus (I swear sometimes I think I have ADD I just lost focus ALL the time).
Tuesday is my moms birthday (my brothers is monday) and we are all going out to dinner. Heres where I always have issues! We are going to California Pizza Kitchen. I have never had anything from there, but I have tried some of their frozen pizzas, they are good! I dont want to get a salad or anything like that, I want a pizza, at least a slice. I guess I will have to watch my points and exercise lots this week to make sure I dont gain. I dont even know points wise or anything about their food. So I guess I'll just have to guess. Plus for birthdays you know everyone always has to have cake. They arent getting cake, just dessert at the restaurant, so maybe i just wont get anything. That, too, will be hard for me to say no to, I love sweets! Oh well, I would say i could have 1 cheat day, but I already had that this week, so I have to have good days the rest of the week. Im just not going to stress the little things anymore. I will do what I can every week, a pound or 2, either way is ok. Hopefully less, not more. Thanks again to everyone for "listening" to me.

Yummy!
I love California Kitchen Company!!! I recomend the BBQ Chicken Pizza! Its yummy! Dont deprive yourself! Eat the pizza ask for thin crust and only get a slice at a time on your plate! You will do fine! I hope you have fun! Support is amazing, it helps at times when you need that helping hand. I hope i can be here for you when you need help. I hope you had a great weekend. Keep on moving!

This isn't a diet. It's a lifestly change.
Aimee,
Go ahead and have a good time, relax and enjoy the time spent with family. It's ok to celebrate. Eating a little bit of pizza and a small piece of cake isn't going to be the end of the world.
If they are trigger foods, then I would stay clear of them.
I had pizza last night for dinner. Ate the whole thing. Made it myself. I buy Mama Mary's Gourmet 7 inch Pizza Crust, add ragu pizza sauce, cheese and whatever topping I'm in the mood for.
Like I've said before, I eat pretty healthy at all my other meals. My 2 servings of fruit, veggies to me are unlimited, 2 servings of dairy, make sure I have my water in and for dinner I eat whatever I'm in the mood for.
My typical day during the week:
- BREAKFAST/toasted english muffin, kraft single slice cheese (reg version, melted in the microwave), little mayo(reg miracle whip), 2 slices of turkey or ham or canadain bacon from the oscar mayor variety pack.
- banana/fruit
- SNACK/string cheese or baby carrots or granola bar or fruit (watermelon is my favorite)
- LUNCH/teriyaki garden salad with reg ranch dressing, some type of salad depending on what reastaurant I'm at. I'll have a Sante Fe wrap at roly polys.
- SNACK/same as above snack or a pudding
- DINNER/ whatever I feel like, chicken, pork loin, lean beef, lean turkey, tacos, spaghetti, whatever.
If I get hungry later on in the evening I usually grab a pudding. Cause I want something sweet and that usually does it for me and I normally have a V8 sometimes two throughout the day.
Saturdays, I normally cook eggs and slice up tomatoes, eat lots of fruits and veggies, tuna sandwich, maybe for lunch or dinner I stop at cicciones and get a steak philly sub and a pepperoni stromboli (spelling ) :) I take a small sliver on the stromboli and eat half of the philly and save the rest for Sunday's lunch or dinner.
Sunday/maybe oatmeal or I cook eggs or something, still lots of fruit and veggies and get my dairy in.
You have to indulge sometimes in your favorites. But if they are a trigger foods then I would stay clear of them.
My weakness is chocolate and ice cream and all that other stuff that made me fat to begin with.
Fitness, you have seen on my blog what I do. It isn't always easy but I made a commitment to me that I would do cardio 3 times a week and strength training 2 times. As you can see from my blog I go an extra mile to do a little more and it has helped. Now I'm in my 4th week and I'm wanting to exercise.
I am so determine to get this fat off of me that I'm willing to give myself the time that it takes to just do it and only look for the next 5 lbs to lose. I'm not looking at the entire amount I have to lose. this seems to help me.
The one thing is you have to find what works well for you and to commit to yourself no matter what. Then the pounds will start to fall off.
Sorry I've rambled on and on.
Take Care!
