Trying to make progress

Today was a really hard day for me. I was rather stressed and I chose to eat really bad. This week I was able to lose 0.8 lbs on
WW. I was able to meet with my trainer.  I'm very sore today.

I realize more and more each day that it is going to take a lot of hard work on my behalf. The trainer will only be able to help me stay focused on exercising. WW will only assist me in staying motivated. But overall I need to do the work and make the right choices. I know I have a long way to go and I am so discouraged at this moment.

My Plan

In August 2007 I will reach 10 years of attempting to lose weight. So I decided after having my second daughter in 2006 that in January 2007 I would stop this endless weight gain and start making progress. So in January i began and thankfully I did not gain any weight, but I did not make progress. So mid March 2007 I said no more and I started WW.

I have 2 baby girls and a wonderful husband who deserve the best of me, so they are my main motivation. I want to lose 90 lbs in 6 years ( 15 lbs per year). Seems like a long time, but I have allowed 10 years to go by with pure weight gain, so this time I will allow 6 years to go by with pure weight loss.

I simply want to make progress and if it takes me 1 year or 6 years I don't care as long as I move forward.

My Plan is to:

  • Attend WW for the Support and Motivation to eat well and take care of myself
  • Meet with a trainer for focus and commitment to exercise
  • Make small healthy changes weekly to establish healthy habits.
