fired up...feel good

well today is a day off from school - so i went to the gym this morning for a free demo of boot camp. it was tough! i signed up for the 8 week session set to begin on april 11th. i'll miss the 2nd week because of spring break and we'll be in alabama - but she told me that we can make up that missed week. i'm nervous as all get out for this - i felt pushed very hard - but i felt good at the end.

i'm in the biggest loser contest at school and we weigh in weekly - we have to pay a $1 or put a "goodie" in the bag that is worth $1. the person who loses the biggest % from the previous week is the biggest loser for the week and gets the goodie bag - i was biggest loser this past week!! first time so that was a nice treat! someone actually put in a 4 pack of cadbury eggs (my fav easter treat!) but guess what - 1 cadbury egg is only 1 point! so i had a nice treat last night! YUMMY!

okay - i'm off to catch up on how everyone is doing... i wish you all a very happy easter!

even with all this stupid allergy stuff going on i still went to the gym for ATTACK - i did a bunch of low options. afterwards i went into the steam room - and i can actually breathe out of my nose right now.

i made yummy salmon patties for dinner. i LOVE salmon patties. 

T minus 2 days.... to see if I have lost those last 2 pounds for my 10% - i'm getting excited.

fusion

i was going to go to the gym yesterday - but i felt like crap - these allergies are kickin' my ass! so i skiped the gym and went too a SILPADA party - spent $130 on 2 items... but - that is my reward for reaching my first WW goal - my 10%!! which WILL be next week!

so since i missed the gym thursday and friday i took the FUSION class today instead of the aqua class. FUSION is 45 min. of BODY ATTACK and 45 min. of BODY PUMP. i then sat in the sauna for a bit... i am already starting to feel the effects of taking both classes back to back!

i have a lot of work to do around the house today... dishes (i really wished i had a dishwasher) and laundry mainly! i don't mind doing laundry... it's putting it away that i hate!

happy friday eve!

WI brought a -1 weight loss!! i am at 9% weight loss - WHEN i lose 2 pounds next week i will have reached my 10% goal for WW!!

oh - and kites yesterday went really well - but i didn't end up needing ANY of those 5 kites that i went out to buy at 11pm!!!! the kiddos showed up with their kites yesterday. HELLO - I SAID HAVE THE KITES IN BY MONDAY!! that way i knew how many i needed to purchase. UGH! okay i'm done venting!

okay i have to get ready for work... i hope everyone has a happy thursday! catch ya'll on the flip side!

 

YAY!

so last night i went to bed around 10pm (didn't watch biggest loser - thats on DVR - will get to it tonight!) well DH finally comes to bed around 10:45 and then i sit up and yell "SHIT! i gotta go to walmart to get kites!" so DH and i went to walmart around 11pm last night because i had to buy 5 kites for the kiddies in my class who's parents didn't send kites in for them. we're going to attempt to fly them today!

so i was back home and in bed around 11:30 and i thought there would be no way i would wake up to workout.... well my alarm went off at 5am and guess what..... i got up out of bed - put my workout clothes (slept in my sports bra though - figured that would be easier) and went to my living room and did most of my firm - cardio workout! about 35 min - because then i HAD to get in the shower.

okay - time to finish getting dressed and head off to school! catch ya'll later tonight!

proud

i am so proud of myself. i made my lunch for myself for tomorrow!! i was making myself a salad for dinner and i went ahead and made my salad for lunch tomorrow!  and i partially know what i'm wearing tomorrow - pants wise - because i always wear the same pants when i weigh in at school for our biggest loser contest. so - not so much to do in the morning means amy is going to attempt to get up tomorrow morning and workout before work!

i did BODY PUMP tonight - i uped my weight and boy did-do i feel it! YOGA was totaly great afterwards. the stretches felt great - the strength parts were a little tough though.

well - the school's biggest loser WI is tomorrow (instead of thursday this week) and then i also have WW WI tomorrow night.  so hopefully things will be good - i am 3.4 lbs away from my 10%!!!

so last night i made macaroni and cheese - weight watchers recipe. i didn't like it. my DH on the other hand - did. i asked him "are you sure you aren't just eating it like that brad paisley song says - 'eatin' burnt dinners the whole first year.'?" he said no that he really liked it - and was surprised that i didn't.

i ate much better yesterday than i did over the weekend. i always do horrible on the weekends - i need to turn that around. and i'm doing well so far today! i did BODY ATTACK yesterday (and i almost threw up) and i'm about to leave for BODY PUMP and yoga tonight.

alabama

we drove to alabama yesterday. i took a half a day off - DH and i got in about 10:30 last night. we got up this morning and went to look at 2 houses. both have potential but they aren't - what i would call - our dream first house. i know our first house isn't going to be perfect... but the first was was too small. yeah it would do for now but we would def need to expand. then second was uber cool - it was an older house - but it needs a lot of work... and it was on less than a half of acre - the property line ended about 1 foot from the house - hows that for a backyard?!

DH parents are still offering us land... so we are going to think about that again - it's really close to them - but that might not be too bad - we all get along really well... plus the have an inground pool and a hot tub!

so - since we left at noon yesterday - and we were on the road - i wasn't exactly on plan yesterday. i didn't work out and i ate over my points...13 to be exact. glad i have those weekly points! now i'm sitting here at the in-laws house by myself. the in-laws are at a cabin tonight for their anniversary and my DH and BIL (who is 16) are off at the local state park riding their four wheelers. i stayed behind for 2 reasons - i have a TON of work to do and it is freakin' cold here! it snowed last night and this morning. i'll go riding once things warm up... when we come back over spring break.  i did some of my work and then decided to do workout some. i only did about 23 min. i just didn't have the motivation. i don't care for her eliptical. i warmed up on there and did some of my workout from ATTACK (what i can remember) and then another round on the eliptical. hey - it's better than nothing!  and tonight DH and BIL want to go to Ryan's... and i only have 3 daily points remaining (thank the Lord for my 22 remaining weekly points!)

okay - i guess i should try to get some more work done... i think i'll move on to lesson plans now. i hope everyone is having a GREAT weekend!
