double cardio!
well so far i have ate very well.... and went to the gym and did double cardio. i did my ATTACK and afterwards they were previewing ZUMBA! has anyone ever done ZUMBA? man my legs and hips are tired!! it was a lot of fun. as long as they got enough good comments they will be keeping it at the gym. i hope they do!!
if your gym has ZUMBA and you haven't tried it... you definately have to check it out. one of the ATTACK and PUMP instructors wore her heart rate monitor and she said she burned 500 calories during the class.

good morning!!
so i uploaded some new pictures.... one is the newest of me from friday night - I bought the shirt when i was in alabama at TJ MAXX - i LOVE that store!
um - the interview - not quite sure how it went.... i left it feeling indifferent. i'm not sure if i did good or bad - so now i guess i just have to wait and see. i'm hoping to hear back from them this week. i was told that i will hear back either way.
today is a teacher workday for prek - not exactly sure what i'm going to do today... i guess i'll figure it out. i hope everyone has a great monday!!

american eagle jeans...
well i can finally wear american eagle jeans!!! i used to go into american eagle with my friends in college all the time - i would by t shirts - but i couldn't ever wear their jeans.... they weren't big enough...
while i was in alabama i went to a 2nd hand shop with my MIL - and i found a pair of capri's - size 14 - and they were american eagle... and they FIT! so today - DH and i went to the mall - i went into amerian eagle and tried on some clothes - jeans included... and i bought myself a shirt and a pair of jeans!!! oh - i am so extatic!!

tuesday tuesday...
weight stuff first.... off topic stuff later
so far for this week (yeah yeah - i know it's only tuesday) i did ATTACK & PUMP on monday and PUMP & YOGA today. i am feeling pretty good.... still have some sore triceps - but definately not as bad as they were on sunday!!
i'm going to miss the gym wednesday and thursday because of my trip to alabama/georgia again (more on that later) will be back just in time for my BOOT CAMP on friday.
oh and because i'm leaving wednesday after school i'm going to miss my WW WI - i could have gone today - but because i'm missing 2 days at the gym i didn't want to miss my class - so i am skipping WW this week. probably a good thing - i think i might have a gain.
okay - onto non weight issues...
i leave tomorrow - flying to alabama. i have an interview thursday. wish me luck! and i fly back on friday - i have a 2.5 hour layover in atlanta on friday!! ugh....
not too much today... i hope everyone has an awesome rest of the week!

happy may!
hey everyone in EP land - i'm still around.
eating has been okay since this past weigh in - the past few days i have used some activity and/or weekly flex points - so technically i have stayed within my points....
as for activity i have done GREAT! i have gone to the gym every day. boot camp yesterday kicked my ass! we did circut training for the first half and then we unracked and reracked all the weights in the aerobics room and then some ab work. this morning my legs were tired - not sore just tired. i still went to the gym for my fusion class today and it kicked my ass even more. kim (my trainer) said good job - you worked out all your soreness and added some more! haha! my legs aren't bothering me any more - but my arms and chest.... yeah they are sore and tired!! i had a hard time showering today!!
i hope that everyone is dong well in EP land - i think i'm off to read some blogs....
oh - i picked up some different magazines to see what i like. i got women's health, oxygen, and shape. so far i'm really liking women's health - we'll see. i'll post my official review when i'm all done!

i forgot to mention - WI on wednesday was down 3.2!!

a whole week!
i can't believe it's been a whole week since i last post. i've been on and reading blogs - i just haven't had the time to actually sit down and write an actual post. i have just been go, go, go - my dog just went crazy when i got home last night because he has barely seen me this week. i guess i'll work my way backwards. (and i have to type fast - i have to leave in 10 min! for the gym)
last night was Relay for Life. after school i went to the field to help set up and decorate. then i had to get to the gym for BOOT CAMP. while i was there and working out - it was tough - but i wasn't too exhausted or hurting. i went back to Relay for the opening ceremonies and drop off my luminaries - walked two laps with DH - then we went to dinner - i was NOW starting to feel the effects of BOOT CAMP. after dinner DH dropped me back off at Relay - i caught the tail end of the luminary lightings - i hung out a little and walked with some friends - i wasn't scheduled to walk until 11.... but hey it's a few extra laps and thats extra exercise - right!? well after my time was done i had walked for about 1 hour and 45 min.... my legs and feet were hurting. but it was fun and theraputic.
wednesday was WI - lost 1.2. i am almost out of the 190's!! i am also down another pant size!!
workouts have been tough this week. after being on vacation last week and not working out like i had been - plus for both ATTACK and PUMP - the classes were new releases (they change the format every 3 months so your body doesn't get used to it) so i have really been feeling it this week!
okay - i gotta go. no ATTACK or PUMP today - my body would scream at me!! (haha) it's a water aerobics day! i have been to the gym EVERYDAY this week!!

intentions...
i had all intentions of going to the gym today.... i normally don't go to the gym on sundays but because of vacation this past week - only hitting the gym twice (at least i walked the trails in the woods - along with finding two ticks! - the days i didn't get to the gym) i really wanted to go to the gym to get a workout in... so DH and i got up and had to help a friend move her stuff out of base houseing - long story - her DH is in iraq right now so she needed my DH muscles - and mine! i impressed her with what i helped to carry! anyways - i went off on a tangent - i came home and got my chihuahua (rocky) and took him to petsmart to get groomed.... dropped him off at noon - told he would be ready by 3 - drove over to the gym.... they don't open until 1!! and they are only open until 4!! what's the point of opening up for 3 hours?! i didn't have anything to do for an hour - i didn't want to go shopping (i need to save money - not spend it!) so i came home... looked in the fridge for something for lunch - NOTHING! DUH- we were gone for a week.... so DH and i went grocery shopping.... now groceries are away and i am off to pick up rocky.... so - no gym. i need to come home and clean... i guess that'll have to do for my activity today.

frustrated
so let me catch you up on my spring break trip thus far....
monday's interview - not bad - but there aren't any teaching positions in that school as of right now...
on tuesday on my way to an interview i go through THE intersection of mentone, al (yes - the one and only) and i look up ahead and what is walking down the street on the opposite side.... A COW! i got out my cell phone to take a picture of it - but the guy in the car ahead of me decided to stear the cow with his car to the little side road and blocked my view! at that interview (with the assistant superintendent) the county has had the lowest turnover rate this year... good for them - not for me! no positions in the county.
wednesday's interview just reiterated with A.S. said - she has no positions and isn't anticipating any openings.
all did say - you never know... things come up and i could get called 2 days before school starts. i'm very frustrated right now. MIL was supposed to know all these people so well - none of them could have told her "there are no positions in the county right now." i don't know what to do. i'm scrambling trying to get applications into some surronding areas - but i'm not going to get the face time like i got here in chattooga county.
i guess i just need to hope that somebody is doing like i'm doing and looking for another job somewhere else and hasn't put the notice in yet. i don't want to stay where we are - working for the people i am right now - i'm NOT HAPPY there. i dread going into work everyday. maybe i am not supposed to be a teacher anymore. i don't know.
okay - it's not a weight issue blog post but it's whats on my mind right now....

tuesday weigh in
well it's weigh-in-tuesday.... the WW meeting here is on tuesdays - so i had to WI a day earlier and i lost 1.8! i have hit the 30 pound mark! this is the farthest i have EVER come in my weight loss journey... this feels AWESOME!!
i feel so much better after hitting up the gym yesterday - kind of renewed my... oh i don't know - i am missing the word - commitment (for lack of a better word) i ate wonderfully today! i go in all my water, fruits/veggies, multi-vitamin, and oils. i'm only missing dairy - i got one of the two - and activity.
my MIL and i are going to go back to the gym on thursday - she has been wanting to try out ZUMBA. so i told her we could go and check it out. have any of you done ZUMBA? the gym that i got to go to here was AMAZING! each eliptical and treadmill has it's own TV - all you do is plug your headphones in - chose a channel and you can watch as you work out. there is a workout room for just women. 3 class rooms. a rock climbing structure in the middle of the gym, smoothie bar... compared to my gym now it is just - WOW! it'll be a slight drive once i'm moved up here... but i really liked it!
okay i need to finish watching TBL!!

well we are in alabama at the in-laws. thankfully MIL is doing WW - BIL is supposed to be too - but i'm not exactly sure how well he does on it - he seems to eat all the time... which in turn makes me want to eat. i just try not to pay attention when he's eating.
today started off well - i had a protein shake for breakfast. then i went to my first interview (no positions available right now - but he'll keep me in mind if something opens up) i came home and had a banana. DH and i ran around to 2 other places for me to drop of my resume and did some running around for him and then we went to burger shack for lunch - yes BURGER SHACK.... i had 2 hot dogs - with chilli and cheese!! ugh - i really shouldn't have ate those! but they tasted so good. i only have 4 points left for dinner! but i am going to go and see about going to they gym - i have a travel pass and as long as i don't have to pay much for a guest fee i'll be BODY ATTACKING it up!
i have an interview tomorrow and another one on wednesday.
it is freezing! and i didn't pack for it at all! i totally forgot my sweatshirt (which i ALWAYS pack because MIL keeps the house way too cold for me!) and i forgot a jacket! i think i can talk DH into going to the mall before the gym and maybe i can find myself a sweatshirt or something.
i hope everyone is having a much better on plan day than i am! i hope the gym will help turn me around!
