WATER
okay so i have a question....
i know one part that has been tough for me once i started this job was getting my water. in my pre-k classroom i had my own adult bathroom and an assistant - so i could go to the bathroom whenever i needed to.
now i'm in a new position - teaching kindergarten - no assistant... i can't go to the bathroom whenever i need.
so how do i get my water in? i have a break from the kids when they are in activity from 8:15 - 9:00 and we go to lunch at 11:35 - 12:00. those are really my only two times that i am able to get to the bathroom....
when i was doing SO WELL with my weight loss i was drinking at least 70 oz. of water a day.... now (during the week) i'm lucky to get down 32 oz....
WHAT CAN I DO?!?!?

Whooooo
I would DIE if I could not go potty when I need to!! I really have no suggestions for that one. What the heck do you do if it's an emergency and you have to go??

bathroom breaks
I teach 5th grade, so I'm sure that's a bit different since my kids are more independent, but if it's an emergency, I assign one of my kids to be the classroom monitor and ask the teacher next door to listen in on my class to make sure nothing's happening. Then I rush like mad to the bathroom and back.
But I hear ya...knowing that you can really only go at certain times according to your schedule makes it more challenging.
Maybe you could snag another teacher or ask someone from the office to stay with the kids for a couple minutes? If it's only every once in a while and actually an emergency, I can't imagine they'd be upset about it.
