random thoughts

i got up this morning and did the fusion class (ATTACK & PUMP) my body in definately tired now though. it got me thinking though -

how many days a week should i be doing strength training? (i'm thinkin' Gettinfit will have an answer to this question for me)

monday i might miss the gym - there is a psychic that i listen to on my country radio station and she is going to be here on monday - and i would love to go see her - my mom told me of a few times she had gone to see a psychic. she was told about me before i was even thought of. (there are 18 years between me and my sister - and my mom was on birth control - my mom said i was a gift from God) but anyways - a psychic said something to her about her 3 daughters - and she only had 2 at the time. well anyways - i would really like to go and see her.

we will be going to a friends house for Easter dinner tomorrow. it should be fun. i wish i had a church here that i liked. i hope that everyone has a nice Easter with or without your family. i have my mom and dad here in my heart!

anyways - enough off the non-diet track - i got an email from the boot camp instructor. sometime between now and april 11 i will be meeting with her for a one-on-one assessment which includes a body and a behavior assessment. i had my measurements done when i joined the gym last summer - i'm excited to see how much they have changed since then.

okay i gotta go - gotta take rocky (the dog) to get his nails clipped. i HATE doing it myself.

strength training

A general rule is to wait 24 hours before working the same body part again (don't work the same muscle 2 days in a row).  Your abs are an exception to this.  For most people a 3 day, total body workout produces good results, and by adding cardio you'll also shed more fat while building muscle and creating a metabolic machine out of your body.  Good luck!

Psychic!!

You will totally have to let us know how this goes. I know there are people who don't believe in that sort of thing but it has always been something that I have been curious about!

ooooooooh

psychic sounds intersting!! can i just say how fab your graph is looking?!

Hey there

That will be exciting to see how things have changed.  You'll have to share that with us.

I can share with you about the weight training of Body-for-Life.  At this point, this is what I know. (I'm a work in progress)   Here is a great chart to show the days to weight train.  (of course, you can switch them up) There is a specific way these exercises are done.  I will be more than happy to point you in that direction if your are interested.

Hope you have a
