Whoops...

Over a month since my last post!??!!? WOW! Where do the weeks go? straight to my hips! Sadly, my rush of weight loss came to a screeching halt after the fair - which didn't do well at all.  Sooo needless to say I ate my loss back :(

But, I'm ready to go at it again!!!  I'll need some support from you all!

What has everyone else been up to?

Let's go!

Hey all!

Hi everyone!

Sorry I haven't posted, but that doesn't mean I've slipped!  I've lost about 5 more pounds in the time I've been absent.

I don't know how many of you know, but I have a full-time job as well as run a full-time bakery.  Well, my bakery is a dessert vendor at the State Fair this year so my family and I have been busy, busy prepping for the treats to sell next week!  The fair is for about 2 weeks, so sadly I probably won't post as much as I'd like.  But rest assured, I've been following my diet plan to a "T"

How's everyone doing out there?? I'd love to hear from you all!

Best,

A

I beat goal!!

I am super happy this morning (happy every morning though but this one is extra special)

I have BEAT my first 10 pound weight loss goal by an extra 1 pound!  I am so excited!!  I started this weighing 325 and now I am at 314.  My next short goal is a 15 pound goal to be under 300.  I can do it!

It's so amazing how a few simple diet and exercise changes can make you feel so good!  I'm looking forward to the finish line. I know it is going to take some time, because the weight took time to pile on.  But the end results will be well worth it!

Have a great day all & stick to it!! That piece of cake isn't worth the end result.  Cake will always be there.

Almost at my first goal!

I am just 1 pound shy of my first 10 pound goal!  I hope to be there over the next couple of days....don't get me wrong anyone, I am definitley NOT trying to rush the weight loss.  However, I am trying to rush off the unhealthy water weight I have been retaining.  Once that is off, I can breathe better, hence I can begin to exercise better.  So this first "detox" phase is extremely important to me!

How is everyone else doing?

Talk soon!

6.5 lbs down!

Good Morning!

So since beginning this diet, or WOE, I've lost 6.5 lbs (surely water - which is what I wanted) in about 3 days.  My doctor says I will most likely lose about another...24-26 pounds of...WATER!  Everyone, it is not good to have that much fluid in your body & no one is to blame but me.  But whatever the case is, water, fat, - I feel so much better!  I am sleeping more deeply and soundly.  I already have more energy.  I know I have a long way to go.  But each day is working & each day I am more stronger than the day before.  Keep blogging people!  Read about your daily success then decide if it's even worth it to cheat.  I know it's not for me.

Have a super day everyone!!!

Happy Labor Day!!

Down another 1.0 today!  Not a long post today.  I will be going to a cookout out later today.  Will confine myself to salad and hamburger patties - no bun.  Gotta stick through it!  Plus, there will be games of volleyball going on today - my favorite sport.  Can't wait to have fun AND get my workout in!

Have a super, super Labor Day all! =)

First day - success!

Yesterday was hard - I will admit. But I managed to keep myself busy to stop thinking about eating "other" foods.  The salt water flush worked wonders and I felt rejuvinated after completing it.  My goal is to do one each Saturday because it really does help.  I dropped a total count 3.9 pounds within the day - water weight which is bad and good.  It's good because it came off.  It's bad because it's letting me know I have a lot of fluid build  up, around my heart and it's not good to have that much water retention.  My doctor has said that about 10% of my weight (about 32 pounds) is water.....32 pounds of water!!! That is insane!

I worked out yesterday to the firm wave (my favorite workout) and though it was tough, I felt so good after.  I have more energy for the balance of the day and can't wait to do it again today.  After I have my morning low-carb shake, I will be going for a 30 minute walk around the neighborhood.

More lean protein today - chicken and steamed broccoli in small quantities throughout the day.  I stop eating at 7 and focus on something else.

I hope everyone's diet is going well.  It is hard, but if you feel like you are about to cheat...blog..even if it's 4 times a day...blog to see your progress and realize that you've come too far to back out now!

Have a great Sunday!

Great Morning!

I started this day out right.  I took a salt water flush this morning which worked amazgingly and totally resets your body so you can get started on the right path.  I urge everyone to do a salt water flush at least once per week. Detoxifying your body is just as important as maintaining a good weight!

This morning, I will be exercising for about 45 minutes.  I love The Firm workout DVDs and tools and if you do it dilligently, it really does work.  After my workout, I will begin my new eating regime of lean meats.  Today and tomorrow it will be separate ounces of lean chicken.  This first week is going to be truly difficult for me especially with the holiday drawing near.  I'll need your support through it!

Have a great Saturday everyone - I'll be checking in tomorrow!

Cleansing Day

I don't know how it got to be so bad, and I'm not going to write paragraphs about it either.  I just know that if I don't snap out of this lifestyle, I may not be here another year.  Food has become a comfort for me rather than to just sustain me. Serious bouts of depression have definitely taken a toll on my body image and my mental perceptions, so I know it's time for a change.

My diet of choice initially is strict low-carb to drop the first 75 pounds.  The remaining 75 will be a combo of strict low-carb/low-fat.

So..here I go!
