11lb in 4 weeks!!! YAY!!!
So pleased with myself - I have lost 11lb in four weeks!! I am beginning to see and feel the benefits and people are beginning to notice and comment on the shrinking me!!!
My next weigh in should see me go down into the next stone - so instead of being 14 stone i will be 13 stone something - psychologically that makes a world of difference.
I am going to be really pushing myself this week to try to lose 3lb so that I can say proudly " I lost 1 stone in 5 weeks".
My holiday with my mum and sister is looming closer but for the first time in a long time I feel totally in control of what I am eating!!! SO I am feeling confident that i will keep it off when on holiday!!!

Hi All
I am mega happy at the moment so many things are going right for me!!
Firstly, I am losing weight pretty rapidly!!! I have lost 9lb in three weeks!! I am chuffed to bits. But I am even more chuffed to bits as i have had a lot to contend with recently!!
I had an interview and i was busy busy getting prepared and sorted for that - and it all paid off as i got the job YAY!!!
On the same day as my interview my fella had an operation - n i have been looking after him.
It would have been easy to have fallen off the wagon n eat rubbish - but i haven't!! I have continued and one thing I have started to notice is i have begun to stop obsessin over food!!!!!!! I am not constantly thinkin of what the next meal is going to be!! And when i do get around to thinkin about it I opt for the healthier thing every time!!
I have had treats - odd bar of chocolate - but i enjoyed it didn't eat loads and am finally feeling in control.
Shall be checking in more regularly now things have calmed down a little xxx

Checking In!!!
Just checking in - not checked in for a few days! But do not fear I have not fallen off the wagon!! I am still on the straight and narrow on the diet front. On the exercise front i have not put in as much effort this week - which is why I have joined a Street Dance Class which begins tonight. I am really looking forward to it!!! I used to dance when i was little. The good thing about dancing is - it is fun!!! Ya not walking on a treadmill for miles and not get anywhere!!!!!!!!!! HOW BORING!!!!
Had a lovely tea and would recommend it to anyone!!!
Sweet Chilli Baked Salmon
One salmon fillet
1 tsp of sweet chilli dipping sauce
1/2 a lime
Put salmon in oven proof dish
Cover with chilli sauce
Squeeze 1/2 lime over the salmon
Bake for 8 - 10 minutes gas mark 6.
Now i don't usually like salmon - but i love it it is really tasty and not at all fishy!!! I eat mine with 100g new potatoes and unlimited salad. This comes in at under 400cals!!! Tasty and low cal/ fat - you really can't go wrong!!! Give it a try let me know what ya think!!!
Also any good recipes are very much welcome - i like experimenting!!!

Still on a high
Hi people
I am still on a complete high from losing weight this week and am almost finding myself wishing this week away just so I can go and get weighed again!!! HAHA Imagine that..... actually WANTING to get weighed that is funny!!
I know I can do this this time!!! My boyfriend has a new pet name for me this week he keeps calling me slimmer of the week!! LOL
I am planning on stepping up the exercise a little bit this week - I need to do something other than walking!!! I love walking but i know i need to do some toning exercises as well!! The motivational talk at class this week was based on exercise and the consultant was saying that not exercising is the same as smoking ten cigarettes a day according to some researchers. Whether that be true or not we all know exercise has to come along with diet but it is finding something that we enjoy. On Monday I am joining a street dance class which should be fun!!!!!

Weigh in - 5lbs lost this week!!!!
WOO HOO - I got weighed this evening!!! I have lost 5lb in one week!!! I am sooooo chuffed with myself!!! But to top that I am slimmer of the week as well and I won a certificate!!! HAHA!! It is very motivating tho!!! I am going to keep it and I aim to get another one really soon!!!
So the plan for this week - more of the same 1200 calories per day and loads of exercise!!! I am looking forward to what next week will bring now after that great start!!!!

I had a treat today!!
I had a treat today - I ate a one finger Time Out bar today!! I am not ashamed to say it, I took my time over it and I enjoyed it!!
One treat out of a whole week is GOOD for me - I am really chuffed with myself!! Not only that but before I would have eaten it in secret - then felt guilty!! Why should I feel guilty? 100 cals, that's all and everyone can have a treat, I think it is when ya lose control and have too many treats that it becomes an issue!! Then we go back to square one!!!
We have to be realistic guys if we are going to succeed - realistic and honest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

About to go for a walk!!
I have been really into walking this week - it does help that I have a little dog (freddie) with an awful lot of energy!! It has been nice weather - I have found it quite therapeutic!!!
SO on with the trainers and off I go again!!! xxx

A successful weekend - only three more days till weigh in!!!
Well I haven't faultered so far this weekend! Which is an achievement! I have cooked my other half and his son one of my favourite meals, chicken wrapped in parma ham, chips and beans and I did not succomb to it!! Instead I sat down with my veggie grill, salad and new potatoes, which I actually really enjoyed!!! This morning I cooked him a fry up - which I am not particularly bothered about anyway - I enjoyed a bowl of Special K!!
Not only that - I have managed to keep up the exercise. Yesterday saw me take the dog out for 1 hour and 20 minutes!! It did have something to do with it being a glorious day of course!!!
Soooo only three days until weigh in and I am feeling really impatient to find out the results of all my hard work!!!!!!! Fingers crossed guys - I shall keep you posted!!!!!!!!!

Goodness me I have added some of my before pics - taken on the day before I started my Rosemary Conley diet plan!! They are very unflattering but then I guess that is the idea!! I am just happy in the knowledge that that was my last day of looking like a lard arse!!!!!! LOL xxx

How I ended up here!!!
Well to cut a long story short this is not my first diet!!! Infact this is probably my millionth!! I am a serial dieter - there ya go I admit it!! I give a whole new meaning to Yo-yo dieting!!! About this time every year it occurs to me that summer is getting closer and i would rather look like a human being than a beached whale on my impending holiday!!
So what makes this time different?? I am now approaching 30 and I think i ought to do something about my weight before it takes it's toll on my body. Having lost 5 stone previously on the slimming world diet I also have had a taste of what it feels like to be slim!!! And quite frankly I miss it!!
I am doing it for me this time - noone else just me!! But this time i am determined that I am going to build new attitudes towards food. First one being not to obsess about it!! I mean when have you ever seen a skinny person goin on about food or denying themselves the odd treat.
I think the key is MODERATION!!!
SOOOOO I joined Rosemary Conleys class and have begun the amazing inch loss plan!! I began on Tuesday and so far so good!! I have to admit i did feel a little hungry yesterday but i worked through it!!!
So please join me on my journey, offer support and advice and hopefully I should make it!!!
