Starting Day 6 on The Rice Diet and I've already lost over 13 pounds!!

I can't believe it, will you look at that ticker up there?  OK it's doing that strange rounding up thing again - my total loss to date is actually 6 kg which should be 13.23 lb, but they've rounded it up to 13.3.  Who cares!?  I can't believe I've dropped over 13 pounds after only 5 days on this plan.  To say I'm stoked would be a major understatement!  And for the first time -- I've told hubby what I'm up to.  He knew I bought the book, he's noticed me eating fruits (which isn't normal for me really, I'm not much of a fruit fan), and he's certainly noticed me cooking sweet potatoes this week but he didn't know anything else.  I suppose he's used to me tweaking my diet all the time, and I guess at my size given he sees me every day I can understand a 13 pound loss might not be noticeable.  Nevertheless, he's happy for me, too.  Read more ...
