I can't tell you how exciting it is to see how my persistence has paid off these last 30 days.&nbsp; That's 10 lbs lost in a month.&nbsp; Thank God for P90X!&nbsp; Not only am I lighter, but I am also leaner and appear taller.&nbsp; I am into my "skinny" jeans, and my smallest bathing suits fit like gloves.&nbsp; LIFE IS AWESOME!</DIV> <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV> <DIV>Tonight I'm going out to supper and a movie with my BFF to celebrate my accomplishments.&nbsp; There will, however, be no wine at dinner and no snacks at the movies.&nbsp; You know what?&nbsp; I won't miss them.</DIV> <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV> <DIV>I started reading The Spark.&nbsp; Let me tell you this is an amazing book so far (I'm on Chapter 4).&nbsp; I recommend it to anyone who wants their life to be the best it can be.&nbsp; Just when I thought I knew everything about nutrition and fitness, along comes a book filled with valuable information, tricks, and inspiring stories.&nbsp; I still don't feel like blogging, but have dropped by at the request of many who were wondering if I was still alive and kicking.&nbsp; Well, here's to you, my dear friends:</DIV> <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV> <DIV>I have finally broken back into the 160's, thanks to a nasty case of food poisoning 2 weekends ago.&nbsp; I think I had a bad grilled chicken burger at Burger King.&nbsp; In any case, I was sick as a dog for 3 days.&nbsp; I swear I have never seen so much exit my body.&nbsp; I'll spare you the details, but needless to say it was quite the detox.&nbsp; I lost 7 lbs, gained back 2, then managed to lose them again.&nbsp; </DIV> <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV> <DIV>Since joining Weight Watchers Online in December 2008, I have lost 13.4 lbs.&nbsp; I track my food and exercise every weekday, saving my points for the weekend.&nbsp; So far things are going great.&nbsp; I exercise 5-6 days per week for at least an hour each day.&nbsp; Eating has been going really well too.&nbsp; I am still struggling a little with my wine intake, but I crave it less now since my illness.&nbsp; I feel like I have finally hit my stride where eating well has become habit and exercise has become a natural part of my daily routine.&nbsp; My energy level is at an all-time high and I truly feel, for the first time EVER, that I can reach my weightloss goal.</DIV> <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV> <DIV>My goal for the end of May is 159 lbs.&nbsp; Let's see how that goes...</DIV> <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV> <DIV>Thanks for all your support, ladies.&nbsp; It's nice to be missed.&nbsp; Let me remind you that I still keep track of you on Google Reader and Facebook.&nbsp; down 2.2 lbs!&nbsp; That's 7.4 lbs since joining Weight Watchers.&nbsp; Yay!</P> <P>I bought some new clothes and shoes yesterday.&nbsp; Some are a little snug, but should fit quite well by my sail date.&nbsp; I should book a vacation every year in January so I don't overdulge through the holidays.&nbsp; So far it has worked like a charm!</P> <P>My foot is feeling better, so I managed a 35-minute interval training on the treadmill.&nbsp; It was wonderful to run again!</P> <P>I probably won't be posting here for at least the next few days.&nbsp; I wish all of you Happy Holidays and all the best in the new year.&nbsp; I pray we will all be closer to our goals this time next year.&nbsp; I drank 4 cups of coffee and nibbled on celery.&nbsp; That's it.&nbsp; Nothing else.&nbsp; Yay!&nbsp; I just finished my lunch, consisting of a tuna wrap, V8, and grape tomatoes.&nbsp; I also had an apple after the buffet crowd had disappeared.&nbsp; I'm glad that's over with!</P> <P>I haven't been able to continue the C25K, unfortunately.&nbsp; I have a lump at the base of my middle left toe, which has left it swollen.&nbsp; I've had it a few weeks, but now it really hurts.&nbsp; One of our employees is a massotherapist, so he worked on it a little this morning - it feels a little better.&nbsp; He's supposed to do it again tomorrow, so we'll see how it goes.&nbsp; Meanwhile I managed to do my 30-minute weightlifting routine and 15 minutes of stationary bike.&nbsp; Tomorrow afternoon I'll try to get a message on my neck, shoulders and left arm - I'm really sore, especially after lifting the heavier weights and barbell.</P> <P>I'm starting to get excited for Christmas, now that school is winding down.&nbsp; Needless to say, I was tickled pink!</P> <P>I confess I did not exercise at all yesterday.&nbsp; I sat in my workout clothes all day, yet never bothered to lace up my running shoes.&nbsp; Today is another day, and I will do my program later this morning:&nbsp; stationary bike, weightlifting, and C25K.&nbsp; Speaking of the C25K,&nbsp;I am afraid to move forward with the program.&nbsp; I dread running for an entire 25 minutes straight on Friday.&nbsp; Just thinking about it gives me butterflies - isn't that silly?&nbsp; Considering how much I drank this weekend, I was pleasantly surprised.&nbsp; Weighing in on a Monday is the pits!</P> <P>This morning I started my 15-day Triolax detox cure.&nbsp; Apparently my colon cleansers got stopped at the border, so I'm not sure they will ever get here.&nbsp; Meanwhile, I decided to pick up a cure I've already used in the past.&nbsp; Thankfully I don't have to fast with this one.&nbsp; My stomach is very crampy, though.&nbsp; I was pretty nauseous this morning until I started my exercise routine.&nbsp; I'm feeling much better now.</P> <P>Eating-wise I did extremely well at the Christmas party I was at last night.&nbsp; Despite the wide array of yummy foods laid out, I filled my plate with veggies.&nbsp; I also had a small chicken kebob and a small piece of vegan lasagna.&nbsp; The wine was another story...</P> <P>It's pouring rain here today.&nbsp; So much for all the snow that fell.&nbsp; It'll be mostly gone by the end of the day.&nbsp; </P> <P>I'm crossing my fingers Hubby gets the Christmas tree up today.&nbsp; I would have done it myself, but he cluttered up the storage room so badly with all his crap, I can't get to it.&nbsp; I told him if he wanted a tree this year, he'd have to put it up himself.&nbsp; With the snowstorm, taking my car to the shop, yada yada yada, I never got around to it.&nbsp; Never fear, though!&nbsp;&nbsp;I made up for it today with 15 minutes of stationary bike, 30 minutes of weights and 30 minutes of walking/jogging (intervals).&nbsp; Yay me!</P> <P>Eating was on track yesterday - I stayed within my daily point allocation without having to use activity points.&nbsp; I also managed not to drink any wine, as I have a blood test Friday morning and can't drink for two days.&nbsp; No sweat!</P> <P>For supper last night I cooked an extra chicken breast so I could grind it up for lunches.&nbsp; I managed to make 2 DELICIOUS wraps with it - I'll eat the second one tomorrow.&nbsp; How's that for planning ahead?</P> <P>Tomorrow night I'm off to supper and bingo with my BFF.&nbsp; My mother is keeping the girls overnight and hubby is off to supper with his firemen buddies.&nbsp; I can't wait to get out by myself - it has been such a long time!</P> <P>Is everyone as excited as I am for the Biggest Loser finale next week?&nbsp; I want Michelle to win so bad, I can taste it!&nbsp;
