Pity Party

Good morning!

You guys are too good to be true.  Thanks so much for sending me your well wishes!  I've been caught up in a pity party now for way too long now.  Granted the pain in my back and leg hasn't abated much, but at least I can walk better now.  Unfortunately I cannot exercise, which is driving me completely batty.  As you know, I am an all-or-nothing kind of gal, so my eating habits have suffered right along with the lack of movement.  Easter weekend was an all-out chocolate and junk food fest - time to end the madness!

So here I am, ready to confess my sins and get out of this awful rut I'm in.  I refuse to return to the 190-lb person I used to be.  So there.

Keep Refusing

Keep refusing to go back to 190!  It's not all or nothing.  I don't know about you, but that's the attitude that contributed to my weight GAIN.  You don't want that, do you? 

You know I'm an in your face, tell it like it is kind of gal.  And I don't always follow my own advice.  And I expect these reminders when I'm having a pity party for myself.  But let's focus on the positive...you ARE getting better.  You STILL have control over your eating.  Come on, girl.  Reel it back in.  Healthy eating for you!

Starting over

I know it has to be tough on you, not being able to exercise like you used to.  Any idea how long until you're 100% again? 

I'm just like you--all or nothing, but we have to do something!  The number on my scale recently scared me too.  You can get back up and out there!

I missed you, too! Welcome back to EP land. I'm sorry you can't exercise yet. You just need to keep taking care of your back and leg and try not to over eat. You'll be fine and back on board in no time. Thanks for stopping by to let me know you are back! I'm sorry if I gave you or anyone else the blahs! That was not my intention!!

Just give yourself time to heal.  You are aware of the food thing and I know you are strong enough not to backtrack (too much anyway - LOL).
