We're getting dumped on again. 10 inches expected, followed by freezing rain before noon. Oh joy. Needless to say I had to re-schedule my podiatrist appointment - I'll have to wait another 2 weeks to have my feet scraped.
My back is feeling better - thanks for all your well wishes. This morning I did my Firm Ultimate Fat Burning DVD, followed by Power Yoga. It felt good to stretch.
I reminded myself last night why I do not bake. I made cupcakes for the girls to decorate and take to school tomorrow. I don't remember the last time I had cake batter - boy did it ever bring back memories of when I was a kid (a fat kid, that is). I had a couple spoonfuls, but felt like crap afterwards. Literally, my stomach kinda revolted and my throat kept closing up on me. The girls will be decorating them after school, so I'll have to avoid the icing entirely. Thankfully I'll be heading off to bowling. Out of sight, out of mind, right?
Crap - I just remembered we'll be celebrating Valentine's Day tonight. We all know what that means - chocolates. The committee will be putting out truffles and chocolate hearts. Ugh! I'd better bring tons of water to keep my hands and mouth busy. Help!
Enjoy your day!

You could
....follow Precious' lead to keep your hands and mouth busy.
Thankfully I'm not a big fan of chocolate because it is flowing around this office like a river! It's not a huge temptation for me, but if I get bored things can go downhill really fast!
Hopefully the snow will end soon. Spring is on the way! I know it doesn't seem like it, but it is!
I don't know about you, but I've about had it with the snow this year, and there has been a lot of it..and they're calling for more for us for Friday and Sunday We have so much that some of the snow drifts out front of our house are almost as tall as I am!
Have fun tonight - and when all else fails, just remember that chocolate is actually a vegetable coming from a bean I'm sure you'll do fine, and tomorrow is a fresh new day!
Valentine's Day dear. And happy bowling. I remember when we were young, my brother and myself used to fight over who would get to lick the spoons of uncooked cake mixture!!!!! LOL
I hope your Valentine's Day was a good one. Did you survive the food? I'm sure you did, but it's hard when there is stuff all around you that is so tempting!
You're not a fan of the snow? You must get a lot over there. Here, we don't get a lot of it in the lowlands so we're often hoping for it. :)
Hugs!! This has been such a bad winter for illness and weather! I hope your banquet planning meeting went alright the other day and Valentine's day also!!
J'espère que tu vas bien ! Ici j'ai des ennuis avec internet donc je ne viens pas souvent. As-tu réussi à éviter ces fameux chocolats de St-Valentin ??
