Today I am wearing low cut underpants. Until today I have always worn my high cut white cotton undies. I'm actually comfortable! Small victories...
Speaking of victories, I actually walked yesterday. Yep - a brisk one hour walk in 8.6F cold. I wanted to go snowshoeing with my BFF, but she told me I was nuts to go outside. I could have gone by myself, but I wanted to go with someone else for the first time. Her loss! You should have seen me, though. I was bundled up like an eskimo - I actually had to turn my whole body to check for oncoming traffic. LOL!
This weekend I picked up Billy Blank's Bootcamp Elite workout kit. It comes with 3 DVDs (Mission one, two and three) and weighted exercise bands. What a workout that was this morning! Tomorrow I'll do my Firm Ultimate Fat Burning, followed by Power Yoga. My goal this week is to work out 6 days. 2 down, 4 to go!
I ate pretty well this weekend. Saturday I took my DD to Vinnie Gambini's for lunch - pure decadence. I had linguini Romanoff (creamy vodka sauce). It was to die for! For supper we ate at Subway - way more reasonable. DD had two ringuette practices so eating at home wasn't an option.
Have a great week, everyone! Only 10 days left to meet your goals for January!

Crazy lady
Do you realize how you help me on the days I don't feel like exercising? I think about your commitment and out there in the cold, and I get my ass up and get moving!!
The dinner sounds fabulous. And I love Subway. I just haven't eaten there in forever.
Have a great week!

LOL
"I was bundled up like an eskimo - I actually had to turn my whole body to check for oncoming traffic. LOL!"
Hoo! That made me laugh so hard. What a great image. I used to live in Chicago as a kid and I remember those days. You sure are an inspiration, as everyone has already said. It is a little hard to whine about all the reasons you can't exercise when you know your friend Angel is out here in the arctic cold exercising!
Glad you had a great weekend and I hope you have a great week!
I've always worn the hi-cut undies but have recently switched to the low-cut ones. My undies were peeking out of my lower rise jeans which was really not tasteful. LOL
Glad you switched over!! Now you swee what you've been missin, lol.
You are a trooper, that 8.6 degree weather would have definately kept me in the house, GO YOU!!! I was just tellin my BF yesterday about how I couldn't have played in the packers game yesterday because it was lke -24 out there. COOLD!
Wow..that's not a lot..but we can make it!! I never actually looked for woman's clothes at Zellers so I can't really say if the clothes is nice or not o_O But I'm sure they have a great selection =)
Low cut?? Ooh lala! Congrats on the underpant victory ;) About working out 6 days this week, I'm sure you're going to nail it!!!

low cut
And you're comfortable? I prefer high cut undies. But it is a great small victory!!
Wow, thats cold. You are very brave! Wouldn't it have been great if you could have sat in the sauna after that? Not any sauna, your very own sauna! Some day I hope our dreams of having our own sauna will come true!!
Oh and...great job on the cold walk! Thats what I call motivation!

Snowshoeing
I would have loved to join you - it sounds like such fun!!! You actually make me feel pretty ashamed of myself as this morning I chickened out of the walk because it is cold and windy but the temperature is still around 15 degrees Celsius, and you're out in less than 10F.
The workout kit you picked up sounds interesting. It is always good to change dvd workout to keep up motivation and also work some other muscles. Good luck and well done.
