Boy, was it ever hard getting up at 4:45 this morning! I didn't get to bed until 11:00 last night. Usually I skip my Thursday workout in favor of sleep, but today I prevailed. 60 minutes in the deep freeze, baby!
I was going to follow up my walk with a 30-minute power yoga session, but my DD was watching American Idol when I got back. I could have used the other television, but I figured that yoga Tuesday and Pilates yesterday would suffice. I'll add it to my workout tomorrow morning.
Fitness Magazine has an article this month with a 15-minute exercise program you can do sitting at your desk. I just might try it! The article also includes tips on how to burn calories throughout the workday in an office environment.
Bowling was fun last night: 164-146-124 (avg 145). We have a new player whose wife just filed for divorce. Nice guy and all, but he kinda keeps hitting on me and it's making me a tad uncomfortable. He asked me to practice bowling with him Saturday afternoon (I declined), then said he'd signed up for ballroom dancing and needed a partner. He knows I'm married, plus he's 13 years older than me. I just try to be polite and otherwise ignore him.
Hubby is on nights through Saturday, so I'm on my own in the kitchen. I got used to arriving home after work with supper ready and homework done. How quickly we get spoiled, huh?
That's all I've got for today, ladies. Have a wonderful, healthful day. Take care of your body - it's the only one you'll ever have!

Hey!
Just thought I'd drop by and leave you a comment :)
Good job on getting up this morning to exercise I'm wondering if I should try it ..hmm..we'll see !
Um...I can't believe you have a new creapy bowling player in your team. You did the right thing by refusing him...maybe he got the message and will stop bugging you??
Is about 75, so I am very impressed with your scores!
While I was out of bed at 5:15 this morning, I worked out in a nice warm gym, and RAN to get inside, I was so cold (and it was "only" 32!), your morning walks are too ambious for me. :)
It's because you're so hot that this guy is hitting on you. Which could be a reason why women want to stay fat - to protect themselves from that kind of stuff. Hmmm...just like the Pink Team daughter on TBL.
Anyhoo - great job getting up and working out. It was mighty cold on my walk to the gym this morning, but nothing like you have to deal with, I'm sure.
Girl, you are insane going outside in the freezing cold to exercise! I applaud you Although when were in northern Arizona playing in the snow, I could have easily gone for a walk since I was all bundled up and wasn't cold!
Thanks for commenting on my blog. It's you who pushed my ass out of bed this morning! I'm proud of me too :)

You are my hero!
I skipped a students dance recital tonight because it was 38 degrees her in Cali. I just didn't want to go out in the cold. What kind of serious wimp do I feel like now?!
Your morning workouts are awesome and I love the time you spend with your DD in the mornings. Keep on rockin'!
I hate it when men/women do this. It's like they have no respect for you spouse. It's one thing to be lonely and want company and another to act inappropriately. Uggghh.
