Whippets

Good morning!

OH MY GOD - you guys have never eaten a Whippet?  You don't know what you've been missing!  Enjoy real chocolate decadence with Whippet Cookies – crunchy biscuits topped with fluffy marshmallow then enrobed in rich chocolate.

This morning I was up at 4:30 am (ugh!) for my 35-minute walk outdoors.  Unfortunately I had to wear my boots over my running shoes because of all the melting snow.  I can't wait to be able to jog again!  When I returned, I did The Firm's 35-minute Power Yoga video.  Now I'm all set to start the day!

Last night my daughter had ringuette practice.  She gave me crap on the way out of the arena because I didn't watch her - I was busy exercising my brain with her Nintendo DS Brain Age 2 console.  I've got to tell you, time sure flies when you're doing brain training & Sudoku!

Weather!

Our temp will be about 70 today, but rain.  YUCK!  But last week, it was in the 20s.  Whatever!  You had a great workout today!

Thank goodness I'm not a big fan of chocolate or marshmallows so that picture didn't have much effect on me!

I've been thinking about getting Brain Age 2, I think I'll check it out.

Sudoku

is very addictive. I weaned myself off it a bit - also because it was stressing me out a bit as well.

4:30am - wow - some of you in here have some fierce determination - I did mine at 3pm today.  How do you even see where you're going at that time?  The earliest I would go here would be at 6 am maybe and only in Summer when it's not dark.  Keep exercising - body and mind.

I don't do them often, because I too get enthralled with them, but exercise for the brain is important.

Good job getting your workout in, despite having to wear your boots over your sneakers...I can't imagine that's comfortable.

Are they wearing clothes? Of course they are, the uniform is part of the attraction! Steve should do the 2009 one! I mean, if you think he's hot, why is he arguing? LOL

Look what my daughters teacher sent me today: FreeRice It's a very cool game that I've kind of gotten hooked on for a little while today. Turns out I'm smarter than I thought! LOL I have no clue whatsoever how to play sudoku, though.

Hi!  I am back and I am staying  Good job on getting the workout it.  It was 67 here today...that doesnt happen very often in January.  TOok advantage of that!!

Oh yea, those cookies are damn dangerous.  I'm partial to the raspberry ones myself, but that's one of my fav flavour combinations - raspberry chocolate.

Glad to hear you are enjoying the mild weather we seem to be having coast to coast.  I not so secretly want it to get cold and snowy again before I leave so I can feel like I'm escaping winter.  This reminds me too much of last Christmas when I was going to the Mayan and we hadn't seen a drop of snow yet, and we didn't come home to snow either.  It was highly disappointing ;)  The nice thing is, this year I can actually really dress up and wear really nice shoes to my birthday dinner, which I've *never* been able to do! :)  I'll definitely give you a full report once we get home, and I'll definitely take heaps of pictures..I always do!

I'm a total Sudoku addict too.

well, I'm not but the snow is!!  I can't believe all that snow we received is now gone.  Still getting up early eh??  good for you.  I am going to have to try these whipits.

I love those games! They are soooo fun! My BF got his dad a red one for Christmas and the whole family passed it around, so fun!
