I was SO not in the mood to work out this morning, but I forced myself to. I hadn't watched all of TBL last night, so I told myself I couldn't watch the rest until I did my strength training. I hated every minute of it, but got through.
Did you enjoy the finale? I did, but would have liked to see more of the trainers. They didn't even get to speak. Anyway that's all I'm going to say about it because I'm sure many of you are itching to see it for yourselves.
Many of you asked about the language issue in our home. Both my husband and I have English mother tongues (that sounds weird, doesn't it?). Anyway, our girls are in a French Immersion program at an English school. Their teachers would like us to speak more French at home to help them integrate better, but it just isn't natural for us. The only time I ever speak French at home is when I'm REALLY REALLY MAD. I don't know - French cuss words come out so well! LOL! We'll likely have to make a decision about their schooling by February. Decision pending...
The girls and I got our hair trimmed last night. It was a cute all-girls outing. Now we're all set for my brother's wedding on Saturday. It's not a big wedding, as they are both entering into a second marriage. We'll only be around 20 people or so at the Justice of the Peace, followed by a small reception in the local chicken place (don't ask...). Let's just say I'm not too concerned about primping for this occasion.
Bowling tonight. I'm hoping for some big numbers. Go Queens!

PS My mother is all excited because she met her pre-wedding goal of 180 lbs. Yay Mom! She wants to look hot Saturday night because my dad (whom she left when he cheated on her) will be there and he hasn't seen her since she started losing...

Haha... good for your mom! I hope she really sticks it to him! Er... well, not in that way.
Anyway, a wedding and chicken sounds great! I keep telling my BF that we should just elope to Vegas when the time comes. It would be much easier (I have way to much family) and cheaper. Oh well... I've still got time

Go Mom I bet your dad's mouth will drop when he see's her. Great job Mom. How much did she weigh prior to her divorce. That is too exciting. Now about you...I am sure you will have a great bowling night you always do well. I bet you had a great time with the girls. Great night out and some mommy time. Kudos.

That's so awesome your mom met her goal and please do tell us what your Dad's reaction when he sees her. I love to hear that story.
That's great your daughter can speak 2 different languages. My daughter is learning sign language and English at the same time. She prefers to sign more than talk and this causes problem with my family thinking she is speech delay but she's not. Hope you find a good French high school for your girls.

I was sorry also that the trainers didn't get to say more last night on TBL. I kept waiting and thinking.....they will get to say something....NO, they didn't. i also noticed on the previews for the season (2 weeks) that only Bob and Jillian are on the previews.....where is Kim....gone maybe.

And weddings are generally wonderful, even if the locale isn't spectacularly-jaw-droppingly-awesome . . . plus, it means you get to get dolled up, which is always a good time!
