Well, our bowling party is over with. I bought a new outfit - first time I've ever owned a skirt that doesn't go below my knees. I had my fingernails painted black and accessoried with black and silver jewelry - really sharp.
This is a photo of me with a fellow bowler - he's on my team.
Anyway, my husband was really peeved with me the next day. He said I was basically dancing like a ho, flirting way too much with the men, etc etc. He even accused me of going out for a smoke when I was only going out for some air. He finally admitted he was jealous that I wasn't paying attention to him at the party. Looks like he'll just have to get over it. It's nice to see HIM upset with ME for a change! In case I did anything to offend the others at the party (namely the women), I sent an e-mail out to all of them along with the photos I took. I admit I drank too much and was acting like a tease (not the whole time, though). I was feeling frisky all day. Trying on clothes and actually looking good in them really put me on a "high" - I just can't explain it. I don't think I've ever felt so self-confident at a party. I guess I overdid it.
I managed to hold onto my 164.8 lbs this weekend, despite the booze and food. I didn't to overboard with my eating, plus I danced A LOT Saturday night. I even got down to 164.2 Saturday morning. Not too shabby!
This morning I was back on track with my exercises: 1 hour of strength training. It was too cold to walk, so I slept an extra hour instead. No excuses tomorrow - I WILL WALK. I'll just have to bundle up like an eskimo again.
Have a wonderful day, everyone!

WooHoo
Wow girl it sounds like you had a fantastic time at the party and I am sure you looked fantastic. (I can't see your picture, but that could just be the settings on the computer here at school.) I am so glad that you felt so awesome about yourself. I look foward to those days!
Sometimes you just need to party! I wouldn't feel bad at all. After what hubby pulled last week, this was the least of what he deserved!! Haha! I can't see the pic either, but I bet you look beautiful!

I can't see it either. Damn! I wish I could. I bet you looked hot. And I agree....hubby deserves to be a little upset with you after his DD incident last week! But tell me that you DO have SOME good times?
I like the word frisky! Hey...you were on a high...the girl can't help it!! I can't really see your picture from the office - facebook is blocked - so I'll check it out more closely at home...but I can tell you look awesome. I sort of know how you felt though...I felt the same way when I was trying on that dress Saturday.
I'm even more impressed you held onto the 164.8 - that is awesome!!
I love the picture. The man in the pic. looks so excited. I love the black nail polish and I really liked your hair. It was very shinny and it looks like you had it curled more to your face. Sorry hubby was peeved. You may want to apologize for making him feel bad. Wasn't it his birthday weekend? What did you get him for his birthday. Are you talking to him yet? Good job maintaining your weight bean bag.
I Loved the shrek the halls. I am a huge shrek fan. My favorite part is when Puss and boots started telling the night before Christmas story then started playing with his hat. What was yours?
I am glad you and your hubby made up. (Eggs works everytime)
It's kind of hard to be feeling so awesome and just contain yourself! Good for you for having a great time. You totally deserve it!! I got in my fair share of flirting, too. All totally innocent! Luckily, my husband isn't too jealous and just laughs it off. I think he might have been told one time too many what a beautiful wife he had! LOL One lady was like " this is Corey's wife???". Anyway, I think what you did was very nice-the email and all. It will all blow over. You look really beautiful and very HAPPY!!!!
hey, you are not a little shit!! I noticed that there's a little bit of self-negativity in this blog. Its hidden between the lines but I found it.
WE CAN CHOOSE TO HOLD ONTO good memories or bad memories. I want you to pick out the good parts: the hugs, the pay-off for your weight-loss work, the laughs and the inclusive feelings being passed around.
You deserve goodness. Love yourself, your personality, and even the e-mail you sent out was very respectful. Let go of any negativity that you're feeling.
Big hug, or big spank

He'll get over it!
Your DH may be upset now, but he'll get over it! I'm sure you didn't go too far overboard with the flirting. If so, trust me, some woman (as catty as we can be) would have cussed you out!
Celebrate your hard work girl!! I'm with you, hubby will have to get over it, atleast you know he knows how good you look! Don't freeze out there on that walk tomorrow.
I had to laugh at the little shit part. The lady I work with has always called me that! Mainly because I was always pulling pranks on her when she first started. It sounds like you had a great time and lets face it, sometimes we just wanna be the girl that has fun all night!!
