Surprise, surprise. I wasn't going to weigh myself this morning because I'm still feeling puffy and bloated. Lo and behold, 166! That's down from 169.4 earlier this week (a number I refused to register on my weight graph). Whew! Now I can focus on getting back down below 165, which was my lowest weight so far. Yay!
Bowling was fun last night. I played like a turd, but had a great time nonetheless. The only time I actually got some strikes was in the last frame of the last string. Three in a row, baby! I bowled 117-110-145. The less I focus on technique, the better I play. Weird, huh?
I didn't exercise this morning. Call the weight loss cops! I got to bed way too late last night, as I only got back from bowling at 10:45 pm. Then, of course, I just HAD to watch Private Practice until midnight. Since it wasn't on last week, I was in withdrawal. So.. instead of getting up at the usual 4:20, it was 7:20. Pure bliss!
Thankfully hubby was working nights yesterday so I didn't have to see him. He actually called me at work yesterday afternoon, wondering why I was pissed. "I was only down the street - no big deal to drive home drunk from there" - he says. Like I'm pissed for nothing. THEN he proceeds to tell me about the $375 he spent in a silent auction at the Bell Center the night before on hockey memorabilia. "It'll be worth tons more on eBay" - he says. Does anyone have an unregistered gun they could lend me? I could pick it up anytime...
Breathe...
I really must put my tree up this weekend. I just wish I was in the mood to do it. Hopefully my husband, who ISN'T working tomorrow, can at least put it up for me. I can decorate it with the kids over the weekend. Thank goodness for hubby it's his birthday tomorrow, otherwise I would have to cause him serious physical harm. Can you tell I'm over it? Ugh!
I hope all of you are doing well. I'm off to check!

Hooray!!
I am so glad they scales were down for you this morning even though you didn't feel like they would be! What a pleasant surprise. :)
I laughed when I read "a number I refused to register on my weight graph." Sometimes I'll be one weight one day and then the next day (after eating no junk), it'll show like a four pound gain. And I'll think, definantly, "I am NOT posting that on my weight log!!" ha ha
Would it be easier just to sell the HUSBAND on ebay? hehehehehe
2nd-Hubby isn't thinking clearly. In the OR where I work part-time I see tons of drunk drivers who were moments from home but ran into a tree. It is so not worth the recovery time/money lost from missing work/upsetting your family etc. And although he is moments from home it is possible another car could be on the street and he could cause another family harm. So not worth it. I am so sorry you are going through that. My sister about 10 years ago decided she wanted to get drunk, She tried driving home and got sleepy on the way so she decided to rest. (ON THE RAILROAD TRACKS). Luckily a police officer spotted her and got her off the tracks with her car.
3rd- I hope you get your tree up. Good job sleeping in and having a great game last night.
Well thats great you're at 166, just one pound above your lowest weight yet!!! Awesome! Im still at 164, my lowest was 160 on 10-27-07. Boo, that was long ago and 160 seems long gone. But Im still trying. So oh well.
I hate how youre husband can just spend $400 and then (like my boyfriend) think that it will all come back on eBay. What is that about?
Well, good luck with that. I was reading a blog (writen by a guy) yesterday that said at the end of an argument there are 2 choices, stay together or break up. So if you're not going to break up over it then why argue? I dont get it.
emi
p.s. Oh yea, the reason Im writing, I erased my last post because I felt like a jerk for throwing everybody off the list, and as it turns out it was a handy tool. Im signed into google reader right now and it won't "find" our blogs when I "search". suggestions?

WOW!
I agree with Tracy, easier to sell DH on Ebay. LOL! Glad to hear you got a better number on the scale this morning. There's only one way to go from here...DOWN!
GOOD JOB ON THE WEIGHTLOSS, that's awesome!!!! Congrats honey. I'll be sure to call the weightloss cops and they'll arrest me for the 2 days I missed too.
LOL @ hubby, I really don't think men get it why we get so angry with them and if you say nothing when they ask you why they really take it as that, not that we're just not in the mood to argue...I hope he really gets the money back on ebay.
Oh my god, now I realize why you were sooo pissed off! I didn't realize he drove himself home. Give him hell, Angel! It's the least he deserves.

Congrats...
...on the good news from the WI.
I agree with Glory--give him hell. Driving drunk is too dangerous to play around with! Maybe putting on Christmas music, eating cookies and drinking eggnog while putting up the tree will put you in more of a holiday mood!
I was going to tell you that Precious' nickname for you is Bean Bag, but she beat me to it! *humph! Heffa!
After that instant of him driving home drunk, I would take the keys away from him.
To save your hubby's life and other people, I would offer him to drop and pick up from the bar. I know you don't like the idea of him being drunk and all, but people won't change unless they really want to. Better safe than sorry. I'm really sorry you have to deal with that.
But on the positive side, you had a big weight loss! Great job! I'm so proud of you and I will post those Disney pics soon on facebook.
