The Daily Plate
Who knew calorie counting could be so much fun (sort of). Kimby introduced this site and I decided to check it out. Cool! I'm done eating for today (except for the rest of my wine & snacktime green tea, but I've already accounted for those), and have a tally of total calories consumed, sodium, carbs, etc etc. This is AWESOME! Assuming this site really works, I SHOULD be able to lose 2 lbs per week. Hmm... Of course I don't expect to lose consistently - there's always water weight, lactic acid buildup in the muscles, TOM, etc. BUT this site offers a priceless tool to help me stay on track.

Hmm...
I use a good old fashioned notebook and pen (plus a calorie count book that is as big as a dictionary!). Maybe it is time for me to switch. I think I will look into this!

Wine Glass
I need a glass the size of the one on the cartoon. LOL I think maybe the suggested 2 glasses a day will work just fine for me.
I am with you about the new fat coming off faster than the OLD fat. Geez, it must be an attachment thing.....just don't want to leave the bod.

For a numbers ho
I do find it fun to count calories! I use CalorieKing, but I should check out the one Kimby recommended. 2 pounds per week is totally doable. Don't know why I'm not doing it, but......
Loved the doggy comic you left on my blog! Cute. My dogs are nowhere near that patient.

Calorie counting is fun?
Maybe I'll give it a try and see how that goes! Anything to get back on track, right? By the way, you're totally right about post vacation weight. I got on the scale this morning and was down 4 of the vacation pounds. Few!

Wow!
I just saw your post pregnancy picture and I can't believe what a difference you look like now. You certainly have lost a lot of weight and you look great now. I can see all the hard work you put in and great job on getting down to 165.
I'm soo behind on the blogs but I am trying to catch up. I'm curious about that calorie website you're talking about. Can I have the link to the website?

I am going to have to check this out. I have heard lots of great things but since I am a carb counter I didn't feel like it would apply to me. It would be interesting though to see how many calories I am consuming each day.
