I lost my internet connection at work here all day, so I'm late in posting. Ugh!!!!
I got a VERY pleasant surprise when I stepped on my scale this morning: 165.6! That's 0.4 lbs BELOW my pre-vacation weight. I only have 0.6 lbs left to go to get into my "normal" weight range. I don't remember the last time I wasn't overweight. Joy oh joy!
I got my strength training done this morning, followed by a brisk 30-minute walk outside. Yay me! I always feel so much better when I work out in the morning. Yesterday I didn't do a damn thing and felt a little guilty about it. Oh, well! Sometimes you just have to say "fuck it" and go back to bed. Thankfully it didn't make a bit of difference on the scale. Whew!
Thanks to every single one of you who commented on my photo yesterday. I know EXACTLY how it feels to be obese, although I must admit I never really FELT as large as I LOOKED. As the pounds continue to melt away, my mirror is finally starting to reflect the person that's been trapped inside for so long.
There I go, rambling on again.... Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

You know...
I was thinking about you as I ran through the wind and rain this morning!!
You're right about working out in the morning - I just have so much more energy and just feel that everything is right with the world. If that makes any sense! Although, right now at 7:00 pm I am SO ready to go to bed after I finish making dinner and eating!
Wow...only 6 lbs away from the "normal" weight range! That is fantastic. I bet you feel awesome - 'cause I know you look fab.
I am sorry you had internet drama today at work. I had a management meeting today. It was fun they had an open bar. How cool is that. I only had 2 budlights. I haven't had anything to drink since birthing my babies. Anyhoo I heard you were outside in the rain this morning. You guys are killing it! You are an inspiration to us all can't wait until my mindset allows me to try jogging. Until then I guess I will be a walking!
Working out as early in the day as possible is the best thing to do. I'm not a morning person (I will NEVER voluntarily get up at 4am to exercise) but as soon as I get up (and before I do anything else) would be great!
You are an inspiration to me about getting the "vacation" pounds off. I am down to having 2.2 to get rid of. Then it will be back to getting on track again.
I am amazed at the picture taken of you in 1998. OM MY GOODNESS, you have come a long way baby!!!
Keep up the great job you are already doing. Blessings to you. Chargail
I can't find it. Is it under your account? Or do you get to it from the main page? Do you mind telling me where to look? I think getting up so early messes with my brain.
