Sorry I've been MIA for a few days. I just wasn't in the mood to post, nor to comment. I've kept up with everyone's blog on Google Reader, though.
I've been pretty much on plan, with a 0.2 lb loss to show for my efforts. I'm hoping to get down to my pre-vacation weight of 166 by Saturday. We'll see... I had to get to work earlier than usual this morning, so I only did my strength training. I would have had time for a shorter walk, but I awoke with a nasty urinary tract infection. Thank goodness I had a supply of Cipro on hand for just such an emergency. I shouldn't complain, though. I used to get these nasty infections every few months or so. This is my first one since December of last year. Crossing fingers - hopefully I won't get another one before the end of next year.
I really need more sleep, but doubt I'll be getting any extra hours of it before the weekend. Tonight I'm bowling, so won't get to bed before 11:00 pm. I have to get my walk done tomorrow morning, so I won't be sleeping in. I also have to close the office again tomorrow night, so I'll be exhausted by the time I drag myself home. Anyhoo...
I booked my 3-night Disney cruise for October of next year. I figured I'd take advantage of our strong Canadian dollar to pay my deposit. Now I get to plan where we'll be staying the other 11 nights. I'm so excited!!!!
That's my life in a nutshell. Take care! Happy losing!

Hey there!
I must have eaten like 6 pieces! BAD BAD BAD! I have thought about chucking it in the trash! Maybe I will be brave and do it. Let the kids pick out 5 pieces, to save for later, and throw the rest away! Anyway, thanks for the comment!

Oh there you are!!
I was beginning to worry!
Ugh, sorry to hear about the UTI - that Cipro is a miracle drug though. I took it in July when I got back from my cruise and had what I've deemed the Norway Crud.
Hope you get some rest soon. Glad you got your cruise booked though!
Sorry about the UTI! I know what a pain they can be. I hope you feel better! Try not to let your busy couple of days get you to crazy. You just do what you gotta do and you'll be fine.
Congrats on the loss, you'll be at your pre-vacation weight in no time!

Eeek
Sorry about the UTI...drink like a fish! I mean water ;) or cranberry juice. Hope the Cipro makes you feel better soon (hug)
OOOH on the Disney Cruise, I'd love to do that. We went to Disney World in December of last year, had an absolute BLAST! We're going back in 3 more years...gotta save up the dough! You'll have so much fun. Do you go to disboards at all? they have TONS of good info!
You sound like you need to get some sleep! I feel you on that one. I am going to Disney for Thanksgiving. Any spots I should try and get to? What is causing the Urinary infections? Do you take alot of baths with bubble bath? Or is it other health related issues. Anywho (just found out from you today that it is Anyhoo!LOL) I hope you get some sleep soon. Remember if you miss one day of exercising due to sleeping in It won't be the end of the world.
A Disney cruise sounds like so much fun! Sorry about the UTI. I can't imagine having them that often. They can be such a pain! (literally) Hope it gets better real soon!
I get these a lot. They seem to have slowed down some lately though. The cruise sounds like a lot of fun! Since I have two little ones, sleep is just a fond memory but I sure would like to experience it again.
Disney cruise! I've always wanted to do that. One day....
Never had a UTI. My friend gets them all the time--she says once you get them, you're prone to getting them often. Ouch. Sorry you are hurting. Feel better soon. I missed reading your posts, but can certainly understand not being in the mood.
Oh that will be so fun to go on a cruise! And a Disney cruise is even better. :)
That sucks about UTI, I'm sorry you were getting them so often but at least it's not as bad as it used to be.
I wish I could exercise before work but I have to be in the classroom by 7am and have to wake up at 6. It's so hard to get out of bed so early but I can't imagine working out at that time! I've known people who wake up at 4am just to work out. I'll try out the after-Oprah technique and see how it goes.
