Today is much better than yesterday. I think I was rather harsh when I used the term "failure" in my post. I was disappointed in myself, that's all - thanks to all of you for trying to cheer me up. In any case, today is a new day and I'm back in the game. I did my 45-minute strength workout, followed by an hour-long walk/jog outside. PLUS.... I'm back into the 160's. TOM finally left the building, and I'm halfway through my Triolax detox cure.
Thanks, Gwynn, for the reminder about Vicks rub. I had totally forgotten about that stuff. DD slept much better last night!
Info for Shelley: I can type blasé with an accent because I use a French keyboard. You can also get it by holding down the Alt key while typing in 130. Pretty cool, huh?
Bowling tonight. Man, it's been a LONG time. I missed two weeks ago because of my vacation, then again for Halloween. Should be interesting...
Speaking of vacation, I've started planning our Disney World vacation for October 2008. We're going to do the Disney Cruise with 4 nights on land / 3 nights at sea. I'm on the fence between the Polynesian and the Beach Club for the land part. Since we're going for a total of 2 weeks, I'm looking into exchanging my timeshare week for a resort in Orlando. So far I've requested the Silver Lake Resort and am awaiting confirmation from the club. I LOVE vacation planning. I think I should have been a travel agent...
Have a wonderful day, everyone!

:-)
I am glad to hear that DD slept better last night.
We are thinking of doing the Disney cruise in October 2009!! I got all excited when I read your post thinking that we would be on the boat at the same time LOL, but then I read the year again and was all disappointed. Planning a vacation is soooooooooo much fun!
Planning the vacation is my favorite thing! I love doing all the research, figuring out the flights, hotels, etc. I need to blog about it, but I think we're going to Tahiti next year instead of S. Africa.
We did a 3 day Disney cruise for my 40th birthday and had a blast.
Hope you have a great time bowling tonight...and I'm glad you're back in the 160's!!
We all get a little hard on ourselves. If we didn't give ourselves a hard time we would not be in shape or we would not put forth the effort to get in shape or lose weight. You are doing a great job and you should not beat your self up. I hope you have a great time planning your trip. Disney? Wow.
I want to do that Disney cruise so badly!! We're going to Disney Land in January! Not quite as exciting....I love doing vacation planning, too. My mom was a travel agent. I find that I end up spending way too much time looking at my options, though. It was such a relief when I finally finished booking my flight and hotel for DC next month. I'm now able to focus on wardrobe! Which I love even more that travel planning! LOL
I tried holding alt down and putting 130 in and this is what happens: ¡£º Oh, well. I even asked my MacGenius DH and he suggested "option E" but it didn't work. I did figure out how to do the "cents" key once before...but now I can't remember.
Have a great day! Sounds like you feel much better today! So glad. Have fun bowling tonight!
I love Disney World--such a magical place! You were not playing around with those vacation pounds. You got rid of those in no time--kickin' butt and takin' names!
You *should* have been a travel planner!! That trip sounds fun!! In my next (hopefully more financially filled LOL) life I will hire you to plan my trips.
