Normal Range

Good morning!

Yes, I am obsessing.  According to EP's ideal weight chart, I will enter the "Normal Range" in precisely 1 pound.  At 165, I will officially no longer be "marginally overweight".  That, my friends, will be a MAJOR accomplishment.

I just checked my weight loss chart, which I have been updating every now and again since May 2003 when I weighed 213 pounds.  I managed to get down to 166 in June 2004, but ballooned right back up again to 190 last October.  This time I'm going to get it right because I have succeeded in making significant lifestyle changes.  My friends here at EP have also been a HUGE part of my progress so far.  I fully intend to get below 150 by my trip to Disney in October 2008.

Last night I had my toenails done in preparation for my trip next week.  I got a French pedicure, with cute flowers on my big toes.  Sweet!

Bowling went pretty well.  I bowled 120-144-140, for an average of 134.6 - not too shabby.  As usual I had a great time.

This morning I was up at 4:30 am, finally getting back into my walking routine after resting my ankle for two days.  Unfortunately I was out a little too long (1 3/4 hours) and my leg started hurting again.  Too much too soon, I guess.

I am mentally preparing for my trip next week.  I'm packing lots of workout clothes and plan to exercise every morning.  Hubby would like to try out the fitness center as well, so it might be fun.  I'm sure we'll be walking a lot, anyway, so fitness-wise, I should be okay.  Food and drinks are a whole other ball game, though.  I certainly won't deprive myself, but I'm hoping to be reasonable with selections and portions.  Mind you, I doubt I'll be getting sloshed every day, as I am travelling with my girls (aged 7 & 9).

Remember how I left hubby's case of beer in the cart at the grocery store?  Well I lucked out - I stopped by and explained what happened.  They were kind enough to give me a replacement case for free, even though I didn't have my receipt with me.  Let me tell you, I have a whole new respect for this place!

Have a wonderful day, everyone!

Good morning Canadian Sunshine

YES! Moving from big to normal is a great milestone!! I keep trak of BMI and a few weeks ago I crossed that line in BMI terms, it feels so awesome!!

We're going to miss you next week!  I bet your pedi is soooo cute.

Glad you didn't lose money on the beer, and ood luck with eating on vacation. My advice would be to avoid thoughts like, "Wooo, Its vacation, its free time and I can eat whatever, oh that is delicious I want it all !!"

What an accomplishment!!!

That is so cool!  Thanks for letting me know about the awesome choice I made!  I love the Sienna!  I agree with the support of everyone at EP!  Yay you are at 166!  CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Hiya

Hi Angel,

It sounds like you are doing great.  Your weight is really coming off.  It is like a thing of the past.  166 WoW.  I bet you are getting excited about your trip I am sure you will have a blast.  It will be extra sweet to have your hubby join you.  I can not wait for you to tell us all about it.  Take care of your ankle.

Normal!

Gosh, I can't wait for the day that I get to be "normal"! Good for you. I hope that you are super proud of yourself, because you definitely should be!

Hooray!!!

Girl that is quite an accomplishment!! I love your new photos. You look awesome and your toes are terribly cute!

It's not a diet . . .

. . . it's a lifestyle!  How many times did they say that, back when I still attended weight watchers meetings?  But you're living proof that it's true and when you make the actual lifestyle changes, it WORKS!

Way to go and enjoy your holiday - you've earned it!
