Bowling sucks

Good morning!

Yes, bowling sucks.  I didn't play well at all last night - I'll blame it on the alleys.  Oh, well!  My team did really well, though.  I'm certain we've gone up a few spots in the standings.  Of course I had a good time, and that's what really counts.  Oh, I also got 2 compliments from people who said they could tell I was losing weight - Yay!

In case you're interested, the tuna casserole I made last night turned out really yummy.  Had there been any leftovers, I could have made wraps out of them.  Here's the recipe.  If your link doesn't work, go to www.recipezaar.com and search "Best Ever Tuna Noodle Casserole".  You can tweak the recipe to your liking.  For example, I substituted whole wheat fusilli for egg noodles.

This morning I walked for 80 minutes or so, followed by my flexibility exercises.  I am now on Day 1, Week 2 of my A-List Workout.  The scale is back down to 168 from 168.4 yesterday, so I assume the water weight incurred from TOM is dissipating.

Tuna Casserole

It looks yummy, but I'd never eat it. I put the ingredients in and divided by the servings on spark people and iIt's 775 calories a serving.  29 grams of fat a serving, and 92 carbs and 35 protein.  I'd have to tweak it a lot and I don't know if I'd like it after tweaking it. LOL!   My kids would love it though. :)  maybe when I get to maintanence, right now it freaks me out. LOL!  I'm weird I know, but I try to stick to around 1200 calories a day. 

I think it's great that you're in a bowling league. That you have something for you.  I always end up giving up stuff for me because it interferes with family.  I need to really make a point of getting  me back on the schedule. 

oh one more thing...

Do you walk in the dark since you get up so early.  I'd love to get up and workout, but I'm afraid to go outside in the dark. I live in the middle of nowhere so there aren't any street lights or sidewalks and lots of wild animals. LOL!  Just wondering if you do and if you have any tips?  Take a club? LOL!  I'm kind of serious though. LOL!

I enjoy myself when we go bowling which is really not that often but I'm not that good in it.  Great time on 80mins walking.  You sound really disciplined with your exercise AND healthy eating.  I should learn a lesson or two from you!!! Keep it up.

I am not a big tuna eater, oh who am I kidding? I hate tuna!! LOL I am glad that you and your family enjoyed it though.

Mmmm, Tuna Casserole

There is a restaurant in my building at work called the Milk Street Cafe.  Every Thursday their special entree is tuna noodle casserole.  It's so good, so cheesy.  Is it any wonder how I gained 17 lbs here before I started Jenny?

Glad to hear the water weight is disappearing!  Mine is slowly going too.

Sorry about your bowling - I agree, the lanes were tilted or something.

As for my gym, it actually opens at 5:30 am M-F and most days there are classes starting at 6:00 or 6:30 am.  I know I'm spoiled!

Your recipe website says 703 for calories 352 cals from fat(50%).  I didn't even put in the onions or pimiento.   If you change the ingredients to light and fat free the calories drop almost in half.  I don't think it would taste as good, but it's an option.
