Rough Walk

Good morning!

Indeed, it was a rough walk this morning.  Twenty minutes into it, I had to go to the bathroom REALLY badly.  I managed to walk an additional 40 minutes before arriving at my Mom's at 5:50 am.  Thankfully she was up preparing for her own walk.  I thought I was going to DIE.  Needless to say, I didn't get much jogging done until after 6:00 am LOL!

I was supposed to do my T-Tapp DVD before my walk this morning, but decided to put it off until tomorrow.  I haven't been getting the expected results from T-Tapp (very disappointed).  Don't get me wrong - it's an excellent workout because it builds core muscles, but I really need to do something that will show up on the scale.  I plan to redo my A-List 12-week weightloss workout sooner than later.  It's pretty intense, so I really have to get myself revved up for it.

I entered my mother, my daughter and myself in our newspaper's Model for a Day contest (Mannequin d'un Jour - Journal de Montréal).  Who knows - maybe one of us will get lucky!

Same here

Yes, TTapp will not give you results on the scale.  Great for inch loss, not so great for pounds loss.  I ran into the same problem 5 years ago, which is one of the reasons I never started doing it again this go round.  I think it's better for when you're at your goal just to tighten up any leftover jigglies.

I feel you on the bathroom issue - one of the reasons I don't really like to work out in the morning.  A lot of times I have to take a potty break.  I'm impressed you held out for 40 minutes!

So will there be any rooting for the Red Sox at your house?!

T-tapp

I think that's why I've stopped doing T-tapp because I would lose some and then stop. Also I got bored too. So a change of exercise may be good for you and hopefully get out of that 170 zone.

I love Fitness magazine. They give some great advices.

I'm all for shaking the tree when you aren't getting the results you want.

We're actually going pacific coast side to Puerto Vallarta, leaving on the 12th, coming home on the 19th.  You are, of course, more than welcome to join me in Cancun in January ;)  Of course, that is totally our way to be so close at random times, and yet still not meet.

Either more cardio or something, ditch the TTapp for a bit.  Or do things every other day.  You're too used to the routine.  Body's bored.
