I forgot to set my alarm clock last night. Can you BELIEVE that? Last night I planned to be out the door for my walk by 4:45 am, but ended up rising at 6:00! I leapt out of bed, got dressed (thank goodness I had my gym clothes prepared), grabbed a glass of orange juice and ran out the door. Instead of the 90-minute walk planned, I returned 45 minutes later. I'm hoping to walk another 30 minutes or so after supper - we'll see about that!
Hubby DID take the girls golfing yesterday. They played quite well, actually (he was impressed). I wish he'd take them more often. He also did the groceries so I wouldn't have to, then chopped up all my veggies for the week. He also made a chicken stir-fry for supper (super yummy). You can tell I was pissed at him last week for leaving the oven on all night in his drunken stupor - I think I'll milk it for awhile!
So much death lately! Oneditto is in mourning the death of a 2-year old boy who she was close to. Yesterday I heard that a good friend's 17-year-old son fell asleep at the wheel on his way from work and died this weekend. This morning I got a call from one of my bus drivers saying her husband (also our employee) died of cancer early this morning. So much heartbreak in a week - it really makes me appreciate my friends and family - I love them all so much!
Well the sun is shining and it's going to be a beautiful day. Carolyne could use some rays on this day - please visit her blog and send along a few words of encouragement.
Have a wonderful day, everyone!

Good morning!
Good morning! Did you enjoy your extra sleep?
with all of those losses it makes you want to hold your family a little tighter!!
You're making me feel guilty for not exercising yet today! My little one is sick so I can't go to the gym and just not real motivated to do a new DVD for some reason, but I'll kick my butt into gear and do SOMETHING! I want to be 180 in a couple weeks!
Losing loved ones or hearing of those who have lost loved ones sure puts everything into perspective.
