Inspired by The Biggest Loser

Good morning!

I did it, ladies!  Despite the wind and rain this morning, I got out there and walked for 75 minutes from 5:15 to 6:30 am.  Thanks to Chargail, I did some Fartleking as well.  Throughout my walk I replayed last night's Biggest Loser in my mind.  The workouts they endured were TORTURE compared to what I did today.  Hats off to all of them - I'm not sure I could get through it.  As for the Blue Team Captain who lost 31 lbs - wow.  Is that even healthy?  How is that remotely possible?

Anyhoo, I'm rooting for the Black Team.  Won't the other team members FREAK when they return next week?  I guess that means I'll be tuning in to watch.  Truthfully, I only watched it last night because I knew it would be a hot topic of conversation on this website today.

I have yet to replace the battery in my scale.  Not weighing in every day is oddly liberating...

Bowling tonight.  I'm looking forward to it, as usual.

Have a great day, everyone!!!!!!!

Show

I haven't watched it yet but I saw some of the reruns during the summer. I always wonder how they lose so much in one week. I don't know if that's healthy or not but I believe these trainers know what they're doing, otherwise they'll look bad if someone ended up seriously injured or dead.

Go Girl!!

Good for you getting your exercise in despite the weather.  We had that storm yesterday - oh what fun!

I simply cannot believe the guy who lost 31 lbs!?!  I mean seriously...it took me 3 months to lose that.  I've always said if I didn't work I'd be in shape because all I would do is exercise.  Oh well, must pay the bills!

Have a good day...try to stay dry!

Ok, I taped TBL...

Haven't had a chance to watch it yet.  Is it worth for me to watch?  Is it motivating...we all know I need a kick in the a** every now and again!

Keep up the great work...and what's fartleking?

I keep meaning to...

watch TBL!!! I am going to have to mark it on the calendar apparently so that I can remember it!

NO SCALE

Awesome! You will be suprised at how much you are losing w/o even knowing it.  I will have to for sure get my workout in now!  Thanks for checking up on me.  I only got to watch last 20 mins. of TBL.  I will probably watch the rest of the season.  I couldn't believe how the contestants lost all that weight in just 1 week!  Great job on your walk!

LOL!

Ok I must be tired because I read Fart LEAKING. LOL! OMG!    I caught the end of biggest loser..and 31 lbs. How in the world is that possible?  I couldn't believe that.  I was also glad to see that there were big people on the show.  Did you notice last year the girls weren't that big.  I think it was a lot harder for them to lose near the end because they were so much closer to goal.

wow

You are doing so great!!  and great on the fartleking.

Have fun bowling!  You are going to be at your goal soon at the awesome way you are going!

totally liberating

I love not weighing myself. But also, when the weight goes down its inspirational.
Fartleking - very cool!!!!!

Yay on the walking!

Thats great!

Yea, how is that even possible that he lost 31 pounds in one week???? Crazy. I watched it knowing it would be a hot topic, too!

Have fun bowling tonight!

You get a big gold star

for going out in that weather yesterday!!  BL - I don't think that the amount of weight they are losing is healthy but hey they have nothing to do by work out everyday and make sure they eat healthy.

I can't even lose 31 OUNCES in a week!

Funny how I don't have cable or satellite but somehow I've managed to follow TBL for the past few seasons!  I tried to watch the first show the other night but it was too heartbreaking to sit through that.  I like when there are only a few contestants left anyway (same with "America's Next Top Model).  For some reason, I really want David (the rancher) to win!
