Yes, Tom has finally packed up his bags and left. Thankfully his departure has begun to show on the scale. 169 is right around the corner, and I'm charging ahead full speed to catch it.
I went to bingo last night. Of course I didn't win anything, but had a wonderful time with my girlfriends.
Hubby was fab yesterday (he's home with the kids until they start school tomorrow). He did laundry, groceries, and cooked supper. Surprisingly he didn't even complain about my going out, despite the fact he was alone with the girls all day. I wish he was "hubby of the year" material every day. Of course, I'm rarely "wife of the year", so I can't complain. Anyway, I thanked him for everything he did yesterday (so hopefully he'll do it more often...)
I went to a BBQ two weeks ago where we hooked up with some old friends we hadn't seen in a long while. I got tons of compliments about my weight loss. One guy in particular (we're talking Hunk City here, ladies), was particularly complimentary. His wife couldn't attend, and he flirted with me all evening. He and my hubby were best friends in high school. I swear, every icky fruit I put in my mouth and every drop of sweat I've spilled since February was worth it to look great for that one evening.
Oops - duty calls and I must cut this post short. Have a great day, everyone!!!

Fantastic!
Getting those sorts of compliments is just the encouragement you need to jump back onto the weightloss bandwagon. Well done!
Esp from a cutie! GOod for you for haivng a "you" day. We all need that from time to time! Thanks for the kind words on my blog. Ive recently come to the conclusion that its NOW or never, as far as my weightloss goes. So, that was a huge motivation behind turning that car around to go to the gym.
