5 Down, 3 to Go

Good morning! The weekend is starting off much better than last week. I started with a 75-minute walk and my usual breakfast of toast and oatmeal. For lunch I had an omlette at the restaurant, WITHOUT toast and home fries. Yay me! I drank water through most of the day while preparing for our BBQ. I prepared a veggie platter to munch on, plus a huge salad from a Pampered Chef recipe. When our friends arrived I had 3 lime margaritas with tequila and tons of veggies. For supper we had chicken brochettes with paresian potatoes, salad, and bread from my bread machine. I had wine with that and drank water throughout the evening. I guess I did pretty well, because I'm down 0.8 this morning. Hopefully the loss will hold until tomorrow, as I am doing NO exercise today. Enjoy your day everyone!!! Angel

For me, that is! I'm so envious that you don't have to exercise today! Today is my normal day off, but since I skipped it yesterday, I have to make up for it today! So 4 miles here I come! Oh, dread.

Planning like that is key - I need to look up options for restaurants that I know we *might* be going to next week - things like IHOP, Red Lobster, you know.... have options before I am sitting there in front of the temptations.
