Before After

Taking Time to Blog

I can’t believe its Wednesday already!!  This whole having to actually work at work makes the days fly by!  I’ve been pretty tired at night, so I haven’t had enough energy to spend time on the computer.  Of course, this means the Nike Marathon race report has yet to be posted.  It’s mostly done – I just need to edit and add photos.  I promise to post it before we flip the mattress this weekend!  Great to do list, I know.

Things are going great.  I went back to JC on Saturday to pick up my food and do an official restart.  I have temporarily removed my weight tracker because, well, I’m not currently in onederland – I haven’t really been there for months – but I will put it back when I return to the promised land.  Hopefully I’ll be there in a few weeks.

I am feeling very motivated to finish losing this darn weight.  What I love about JC is the ease of use – all I have to do is figure out what vegetables to add and I’m good to go.  Sure, I do hate the BS of the whole “counseling” session – I like my JCC, but damn she’s chatty.  It’s hard being perky at 8:00 am on a Saturday.  I felt like a superstar at the center on Saturday though – she introduced me to the client she was seeing after me, who I guess can’t believe the old fat me was really me.  Pretty funny.

On Sunday my running buddy and I ran in the Falmouth in the Fall Road Race – 7.1 miles.  Man, am I out of shape!!  I barely got through it – averaged a 13:18 mile with quite a bit of walking.  Hard to believe 2 weeks ago I completed a marathon!  I need to get in a few more good runs before the Route 66 half a week from Sunday.  I just took a look at the course map – I guess I didn’t know it was all uphill from miles 9-12.  Eek!  Bridget – you’re going to have wait on me!

Again, I’ve been a lousy blog buddy.  I hope you all know I’m thinking of you even if I don’t comment on your posts, and I’m going to try to post more often too, especially since I’m finally working my way to goal!!

*I completely forgot about my ultrasound.  I do have a “small fibroid” and my NP thought I should go see a gyn to make sure it’s nothing major.  I have an appt on 12/18 – I could have seen a male doc sooner, but you know, I just want a woman for this.  According to my blood work results, I am not menopausal.  Not sure if that’s good, or bad!

I seriously doubt...

... that I will be waiting on you!

I stand by my proclamation I've made from the time I found you were doing the Route 66...you will be leaving us in your dust from the start line!  I can't imagine averaging a 13:00 mile yet, and am thrilled when I can keep it between 15:00-16:00!  I think a 13 min. mile is awesome after running your first marathon just 2 weeks before!

That is so awesome about your JCC's pride in showing off your accomplishments Saturday...your progress has been such an inspiration to all of us JC'ers/former JC'ers, and everyone else!  As I've said before...you will be to your weight goal in no time with the determination you have shown through your weight loss journey thus far, and your athletic accomplishments!

I hope all is well with the one fibroid.  I see my gyn next week, and he  usually doesn't do much bloodwork, but I'm thinking since I have only had one very light cycle since I last saw him, he may do bloodwork this time to see where I stand in that journey!

Wow!

Definitely let us know what you find out about the fibroid.  I'm sorry.  I sure hope it's nothing major.

I love your attitude about losing the rest of your weight.  You will definitely do it!

You are really going to love Bridget.

fibroid

Oh no! I'm so glad that you went and found something out! I hope everything turns out ok! I'll be sending healthy vibes your way!

You and Bridget are going to have so much fun at the Route 66 race! I wish I could be there! I've never been to Oklahoma before! But I can't...its Devon's birthday that weekend. Not that C. would let me go anyway. He's so mean. LOL OH, and I caught a glimpse that you're going to do the Flying Pig in Ohio! Thats supposed to be a fun one! Are you going to be doing it with GettinFit??? That would be a blast!

Take care of yourself!

Congrats!

I'm excited to hear about your continued success with JC, and congrats on Falmouth!

I had a fibroid

the size of a grapefruit...that is why I had a hysterectomy...of course that was about 20 years ago...they have less tramatic treatments now...but I must admit...I do not miss my period...one tiny little bit!

So cool you will be running with Bridget!!!!

And congrats going back to JC...can't wait to see the results....BE GONE WITH THAT 50 LBS!!!!!!!!!!
