Rocktober 31st

I can't believe today is the last day of Rocktober.  This month literally flew by!!

The last few days have been pretty busy.  I decided to go see the doctor yesterday - my little issue seemed to be much worse than usual, and something told me I needed to get checked out.  She did some bloodwork and I'm scheduled for a pelvic ultrasound on Monday.  There's all sorts of reasons why I could be messed up - I'm 43, I've lost a bunch of weight in the last 2 years, I ran a marathon a couple of weeks ago, etc.  Hopefully I'm just entering perimenopause (officially) and there's nothing major wrong - but it's good the get the tests to just make sure.

I know I've promised a race report, and I will try to get it posted this weekend.  I've been pretty tired in the evening, and of course I still have hours and hours of television watching to do!  Sadly, there was so much some of the older shows were deleted so I have to watch them on the computer before I can watch the ones on the DVR.  OC much Andrea?

And most importantly, I did find out the reason why my coworker "is no longer with the company" - and surfing the internet had nothing to do with it.  If you're interested leave me a comment and I'll let you know the reason, since the blogosphere isn't very confidential.

I'm headed to Jenny Craig tomorrow to restart the plan, and on Sunday I have a 7-mile race.  I haven't run since the marathon - I hope I'm still able!!

I'm in the midst of perimenopause, and it can sure mess "regular" up, although I have the opposite problem with TOM only visiting every several months now.

After your marathon, I'll bet 7 miles will seem like a short jog! Have a great race!

I am having peri-menopause issues. I have to get back to hte doctor becuase I feel like my period is taking over my life. It is ridiculous ot spend well over 1/2 the month either in abject pain, bleeding like a stuck pig, crazy as hell.

Hope your run went well. The first one after a marathon is usually, um... interesting.

I'm totally OC about catching up on shows before watching new episodes. Boyfriend wants me to watch House with him, so I'm taking forever to catch up on four seasons so I can watch the new ones too! :)

When are you getting into Tulsa, and are you going to the official pasta dinner? I'm trying to decide whether to go to the official one or if I'll just be antisocial and pick up takeout somewhere and curl up in bed to rest up after a long day of traveling. However, I'm hoping we'll get to meet up at some point :)
